Katie Zacharia, who was hired as White House Press Secretary but served in the role for less than a week, broke her silence on Fox News’ role in her ouster and appeared to suggest that she was set up by the network.
Zacharia emphasized that she had “great relationships” with the White House staff, but Fox’s “hostility” toward her was “very likely” the reason she departed the role, she said.
Sean Hannity grilled Zacharia over her first press briefing and pressed her on her legal career during an appearance on his show the night before she resigned as Press Secretary.

MONTEREY COUNTY JAIL PLACED FACILITY ON FULL LOCKDOWN, HARBORING CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIENS FROM FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT
On October 27, the Monterey County Jail was placed on temporary lockdown following a targeted ICE operation involving criminal illegal aliens with prior arrests for DUI, drug offenses, and providing false identification.
New bookings and inmate releases were temporarily suspended. Two of the individuals ICE sought were reportedly released from custody.
This is where we are: Criminals are being protected in sanctuary cities and states, and a law enforcement facility is siding with CRIMINALS instead of cooperating with federal law enforcement.
PRESS RELEASE - Monterey County Jail Has Been Placed on Lockdown -
The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office has placed the Monterey County Jail on lockdown.
Effective immediately, the Monterey County Jail is not accepting any new bookings, all inmate releases have been temporarily suspended, and the facility is closed to all public visitation, with the exception of attorneys visiting their clients.
These temporary measures are being implemented out of an abundance of caution to ensure everybody’s safety. Our priority remains maintaining a safe environment for everyone in and around the jail facility.

James O’Keefe and Cam Higby have been charged with felony unlawful voting and identity theft in Minnesota after filming undercover videos at polling places to challenge the state’s voter-vouching system. Prosecutors allege they used the identities of registered voters without permission. Higby says no laws were broken and calls the charges “lawfare.”
