You put your money in the bank. Who does the bank lend it to? Businesses that need money to grow or the government?
At the Africa Financial Summit in Luanda, Angola, @BritamEA Group MD & CEO Tom Gitogo questioned why banks put so much of their customers’ deposits into lending to governments.
Why does this matter? Because businesses need loans to open new branches, buy equipment and hire people. If banks favour lending to governments, where does that leave everyone else?

I am an extremely busy man.
I start working from 5 or 6am every day, and log off by 6pm.
Sometimes, 11pm.
But I still show up here to post.
You don't know how I work.
If you have a side hustle that fetches you like N500k income each month, you're doing well.
On X, I make far more than that each month.
I started this page just because I have the passion for young people and their relationship, and I want them to succeed.
But 5 years later, I decided to monetize my page after X gave me free subscription.
It took me time to monetize the page.
But when I saw how the Tinubu government was going to make me poorer, I decided to change my mind.
Now I am reaping from all the years of hardwork and selfless service.
Don't envy me.
Even if you do, let it be positive envy.
I didn't just get here today.
Many people that I built their pages for them, started making some money way before I decided to monetize my page.
I worked real hard for it.
If you decided to take your X page seriously simply because you want to be earning, you'll need to be patient and hardworking.
You'll need to find a niche and be good at it.
When they seek for who knows what, they'll recommend you.
And you'll need to make a lot of sacrifices and be willing to give far more than you'd receive.
I gave out millions (not through giveaways) way before I started making millions for myself.
If you're lurking around the corners, waiting for my downfall, I have paid my dues.
If you need my help, be humble and ask for it.
If you're just there hating, my progress will continue to torment your life.

Today I woke up here in the village since 2015.
I remember coming back home in 2024 when I lost my job, and that experience of spending nights in my father's kitchen was not good.
I have been saying I will build since 2017, but during the December holidays, I would remain in the rental.
However, this year I made up my mind and promised myself to spend the holiday in the village.
The decision to build a grass-thatched hut came to me when I saw Amerix share his two huts.
I wouldn't have built this if it were not for Amerix. I would still be waiting to put my finances in order to build a permanent house.
To cut costs, I brought in the expert, and I positioned myself as the helper labourer.
Thank you, Amerix.
