It makes sense why so many DA supporters are openly racist on SM while the politicians are bitchy and angry. The supporters think they won something, the politicians know they didnt. Voting % less than in 2016. Less seats than in 2021 even with higher turnout.

ActionSA’s Gauteng Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) met yesterday, 7 November 2026, to assess our performance in the Local Government Elections and discuss the political situation emerging across the province. The PEC welcomed the progress ActionSA has made since the 2021 elections and thanked the people of Gauteng who came out and voted for our party. On coalition negotiations, the PEC reaffirmed its commitment to the framework adopted by ActionSA’s Senate on 23 October 2026. Our position is that we are prepared to talk to any political party. But we will not enter into agreements simply to be part of government. { Full Statement 👇}

Dear @IECSouthAfrica Electoral Commission Act 51 of 1996, section 5(1)(e): the Commission must declare results within seven days after elections. Nothing in law requires the Commission to announce results sooner. Process the objections without unwarranted haste. You have until Wednesday 11 Nov to announce the results.

This is EXACTLY why the DA tried so sabotage ActionSA. They know how much of a threat we are because we actually perform when given the chance.
DA hates ActionSA bcos once u put them in power they work, they like ANC bcos u put ANC in power u sure to grab that vote in the next election whilst ActionSA cement its position

Good Morning Cape Town This morning I am deeply overwhelmed and grateful at the love and support thousands of you have shown Action SA as we ran this race. The result yielded in this LGE is testament that God saw our hearts and heard our prayers and did exceedingly, abundantly and more than we could ever ask, think or imagine. My heart is full. As we prepare for the next few days of crucial decision-making and planning, we trust that we will retain your support as we continue to build towards the next leg of the race. From my heart to yours, Thank You! 💚🇿🇦

Speaking of asylum seekers in South Africa, I hope everyone watches & shares this video. March & March and @JacintaNgobese have been speaking about this.

We know illegality thrives in chaos. Remove some of the incentives that draw illegal immigrants to our communities. Enforcing by-laws is a start. We are not expecting the municipality or Ward councillors to chase down illegals…we want them to restore order.
Border control and immigration policy are National Government responsibilities. A municipality and/or Ward Councillor does not have any power to control our borders nor order deportations. The people of South Africa will soon discover that political parties which campaigned on those promises in the Local Government Elections promised powers that municipalities do not possess. All these dishonest parties simply played with the emotions and vulnerabilities of our people. Voting is done now. The question you must ask the party you voted for is; will they close the border? The answer is NO!

If you can only win when others lose, you are not winning. The DA would like you to believe otherwise.

Crazy that the DA having less seats in Joburg is being sold to you as people preferring the DA. 2021: 71 wards (areas were ppl live) were won by the DA 2026: 51 wards

Habib calls MKP and EFF destructive, then warns that any alliance with them proves you don’t love South Africa. That’s not a political position that’s a RACIAL SLUR with a thesaurus(swap one word for another that means the same thing) He’s not worried about corruption; he’s worried that the wrong people got to vote. Millions of Black South Africans chose those parties, and his answer isn’t to persuade them, it’s to disqualify them. That’s the oldest trick in the book: when you can’t beat the electorate, call the electorate the disease. What a RACIST Man Adam Habib is!…..he needs to be isolated by the business and academia.

I have no interest in the MKP or the EFF. I am convinced that they are destructive for South Africa. They will enable corruption, enhance state malfunction and result in societal collapse. Any party that enters into alliance with either does not have SA’s interest at heart.

Please, stop misleading society and your readers. Show some respect. South Afrcans have lost faith in politicians. Let's have a media people can trust, not this misinformation carried in this article. Very unfortunate media reporting.

Top of the 🌅 The final vote count for North West is in! A huge congratulations to our Provincial Chairperson, @MasegoKodisang , who stepped into the role just four months before the elections and has since led an incredible effort to ensure that @Action4SA establishes its presence in municipalities where we previously had no representation. The results speak for themselves, This is a significant milestone for the Big Green Umbrella. I am immensely proud of your leadership, hard work and dedication, as well as that of your entire provincial team and every @Action4SA member who worked tirelessly to make this possible.

🚨🇿🇦DR Nasiphi Moya disconnected electricity for the SAPS, Shoprite, Spar , the Nigerian embassy and other big entities because they owed the state millions for electricity and they all paid so that their businesses can continue. Nobody in government has balls like her🤞

If ANC members had listened to some of us when we told them about electing Cyril Ramaphosa and continuing to protect him. The ANC is gone but there is still an opportunity. Get rid of Cyril Ramaphosa. #LGE2026

30+ year’s of robbing the dignity for citizens of the country. Did the @MYANC thieves think people haven’t had enough of them? For all those still voted for the ANC are brainwashed.

This is that boisterously said he would rather be called indecisive than killing the ANC. The sad reality history will record him having written, edited and publish the ANC obituary. They have destroyed the struggle heritage due incompetence, corruption and arrogance.

Hijacked buildings is the main reason why Johannesburg is collapsing but the politicians are acting oblivious to that .
Let’s be honest: You can’t seriously talk about fixing Joburg without talking about reclaiming the hijacked buildings in the CBD. There’s no bypassing this issue. 🤷🏾‍♂️
