Nothing against any player, but the goalposts keep moving to suit the narrative.
Arguably the greatest individual season in English football, yet somehow, it still wasn’t good enough for them that year.
Make it make sense.

I think Iraola knows very well Grav isn’t good and is probably not in his long term plans I think it’s about physicality and managing minutes gor Nyoni at this point tbh
Not to me that’s my slightly autistic endearing Spanish manager but I genuinely think people more readily praise Xabi, Enzo, Arteta (at least this bitch has a league to his name) because they are more “conventionally attractive” like pretty privilege is real people
I’m gonna be serious with you I think him being chopped is getting in the way of people praising him #oop

Canada just signed an MOU which deepens military cooperation, intelligence sharing and training with the UAE, which is arming mass killings in Sudan.

My point is, if I'm going to have banter with French people, I want to actually banter with real French people..not a bunch of Africans who fled their country and arrived yesterday

Mbappe at Liverpool would've been a top 3 player of all time arguably.
I know Liverpool isn't consistently on top like Mbappe would like but they would have ensured he played in the great LW inside forward he was meant to & not ruin his body/ability trying to bulk him into a ST.
we’re the better spanish manager in the end hold that u bum @xabialonso
Mind you that loss was because Chris Kavangh is a bitch. We were comfortably winning, or at the very least a draw.
Think Iraola deserves far more credit than the general consensus seems to be right now, he’s lost ONE match at Liverpool, to City. They’re 3 wins from 3 in the UCL, on 15 points after 8 games (71-ish point pace), utilising Nyoni, Koumas, Rio, McConnell. They were one of the teams whose transfer business was most worrying, Araujo’s done well but RB, LB, central midfield, he’s managed those issues near-perfectly. Still so much to be improved on even from a coaching POV but in a transition season with a sub optimal “rebuild” in the summer, you couldn’t have asked for much more.

Trey Nyoni was Liverpool’s most impressive performer. The way he tamed bouncing balls in the middle of the park to reset Liverpool into settled possession. Some impressive turns. And he has a high level of intelligence to make the correct decisions again and again. Metronome.
People talk about managers and they should be given time but I always say, you have to earn your time. Iraola is doing that, even if games aren’t pretty, he’s proving he has the ability to coach 3 games a week, rotate, balance the XI, and win games. He’s earning his time:
