That’s a newer Lear 31. He was on an older 35 model with a 450 pressurization system vs the newer design 510 pressurization system. Lear 35s still running that system were old at the time most simulator schools had stopped training it. If an operator was operating 450 systems training was generally conducted in house. I was terrified of a decompression because of the fact manual intervention was required vs auto emergency pressurization like the 510 system. I used to make all the new guys do it many times. Very sad. Here’s an old 35 with the 450 that I flew a good bit, that might even be me landing.
