There’s enough Medicaid fraud in Minnesota to buy 9,000 of them.
Thats half the GDP of Afghanistan.

About half or more of the roughly $18 billion in claims paid out by Medicaid to Minnesota-run programs may have been fraudulent, and at least 14 programs were likely exploited, a federal prosecutor said Thursday.

Received this flyer in the mail. I don't know this outfit, nor am I promoting them... but am curious if anyone's had experience with Section 180.
Pros/cons?
I've never dealt with it, but my understanding is Section 180 is a tax tool that lets active farmers immediately deduct some land costs — like fertilizer, lime, or even residual nutrients already in the soil — instead of adding them to land basis or depreciating them over time.
I think it has to be:
-Recently purchased previously farmed land
-Soil amendments with multi-year benefits
I don't think it can be used if:
-You’re just a cash rent landlord
-The land has never been farmed before
-You can’t back it up with records
Anyone actually used it and have thoughts?
