BBC Scotland's transport correspondent has turned up at last. David Henderson went AWOL when McGills called the FM a dictator. He was on Reporting BritNat tonight with a wee budget propaganda item about defence spending. Former Labour candidate Rhea Woolfson also appeared.

When the FM returns from his trip to India a FOI request will be submitted asking how much the trip cost. A BritNat newspaper will claim public cash has been wasted. BBC Scotland will run headlines lambasting John Swinney and its sock-puppets will confront him on TV and Radio.

Australia’s “antisemitism envoy” seems to believe it is her job to lie and sow misinformation in order to facilitate a genocide. Perhaps that really is her job.

I doubt it, in my opinion, the opposite might be true. (UAE quietly helping Saudi Arabia)
This narrative was spread by some Saudi sources few weeks ago, to excuse their defeat, i believe Yemen's Ansarallah still have the same allies.
UAE media has been critical of Saudi losses, but it was expected since the Saudis kicked them out of Yemen last year.
The US/Israel would simply not allow this alliance.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: The UAE, a close US and Israeli ally, is quietly helping Ansarallah (Houthis) fight Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces, four sources have told Drop Site. This comes after Riyadh forced the UAE out of Yemen last December following clashes between their rival Yemeni allies in the south.
Key findings:
➤ UAE-aligned Yemeni forces have given Ansarallah targeting help while Abu Dhabi looked the other way. Two sources said the UAE has also shared intelligence directly.
➤ The assistance is limited to targets inside Yemen, not Saudi Arabia, according to some sources. One source said a senior US official warned the UAE to stop, but sources indicated the assistance was ongoing.
➤ Commanders in the Giants Brigades, a predominantly Salafi militia from the south, have repeatedly abandoned positions without a fight, while UAE-backed southern separatist commanders have refrained from fighting Ansarallah on key fronts, a Yemeni source said.
Senior Ansarallah official Mohammed al-Bukhaiti denied the assistance, citing UAE “neutrality,” but said Riyadh could avoid “the possibility of a future Yemeni-Emirati alliance against it” by ending the war and lifting the blockade. The STC separatists denied contact with Ansarallah or unwillingness to fight it in the south. The UAE ambassador to Washington did not respond to requests for comment.

One of the dumbest things we are asked to believe about Iran is that it keeps taking time away from defending itself against US-Israeli aggressions to orchestrate random acts of arson and vandalism in mid-power western states for no discernible benefit to its strategic interests.
Today CBC published an article with the headline: “Why a spate of gun-for-hire shootings in Toronto were likely paid for by Iran.”
I was intrigued, as there has been almost 0 evidence offered for this claim thus far.
Unfortunately this article doesn’t offer any either, adding nothing new. CBC says they spent weeks on the investigation, so these are pretty pitiful results, at least in terms of finding evidence of who paid for the shootings.
I’m not sure why they feel comfortable with such a declarative headline given the lack of evidence (other than journalistic standards going out the window when the subject is an Official Enemy country).
Also, CBC and other journalists continue platforming police claims that they need backdoor access to messaging apps to solve these shootings, with no push back or critique about how these powers can be abused, including against journalists.

"47 billion" 🙄
The real cost of the war on Iran, started by the 47th POTUS, must be somewhere near $200 billion already.

I am 100% sure that if black and brown people violently took over the US and created a system where white people are allowed to vote in 12 states out of the 50 (but can never be part of the government) while the rest of them lived under a military dictatorship it would be one hell of a great, exemplary democracy

🇦🇺 Australia's Special Envoy to Combat Antisemitism Jillian Segal told a national inquiry in July that it was "well-known and even accepted by the United Nations" that Gaza's death toll is "grossly inflated."
The UN rejected that. "Independent validation of subsets of the data has found no significant discrepancies," UN Secretary General spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric has said.
She was pressed on the claim by Greens Senator David Shoebridge at a Senate hearing today ⬇️

On a serious note, though, a lot of people don't realize how close to both the US and Israeli national security states Baron Cohen is, and how they have both helped him in his rise to stardom.
My investigation lifts the lid on these partnerships.

The thing about the Israeli election is this: it doesn't much matter who wins. The genocide will continue. The slaughter of Palestinian children will continue. The ethnic cleansing of the occupied West Bank will continue. And the settler-colonial system will remain in place.
