Why are you looking for black representation in asian media? Especially media set in east asia, whose countries are highly homogenous? That's like me going to nigerian media and complaining about a lack of asians.
Replying to @copaceticfool
1. im hispanic
2. black people have been underepresented & ignored in media thru all of history, making black characters shallow and just "tropes" for the light skinned characters, most times whitewashing is wrong because a black characters race is always vital to their character

Many feminists deliberately read books by female authors only? Who’s spiraling?

“Boys have only dim, weak role role models” seems to be really sending the girls spiralling today.

Gaslighting 🤡
No Katie, you are saying men should read books that you want them to read because they are your preference

I have never in my life, not once, seen a man lament that young girls don't read more military history books, or that they don't want to play with tonka trucks. Not even the most liberal, feminized, woke men do this.
This phenomenon is restricted exclusively to white, liberal, usually (though unfortunately not always) childless, HR-brained women. And the reason is simple: they just hate men and don't want them to exist. They can't literally genocide men, so they do the next best thing, which is to try and turn them into women.
Next time save the bullshit and just say you hate men, it'll be easier for everyone involved.

You can't fight human nature.
Teach girls to read books by and for men instead? I'm sure they'll enjoy hardboiled scifi detective novels with damsels in distress if you just force them to.

Went to the “Godzilla Exhibition” as well.
Saw “Godzilla Minus One” for a second time at Shinagawa, which was recently upgraded with “IMAX® with Laser.” The sound was excellent. Picked up the special edition pamphlet as well, along with the Movie Monster Series King Ghidorah Theatrical Release Commemorative Original Color Ver.
A “Godzilla film” is different from an ordinary “kaiju movie.” For more than 60 years, it has transcended generations, cultivating a fanbase that continues to multiply like Godzilla cells themselves. There have been the Showa era films, the Heisei era films, the Millennium series, the MonsterVerse, director Anno’s Shin Godzilla, the animated Godzilla films. Each comes with its own distinct look and interpretation of Godzilla. Naturally, everyone has their own thoughts about this latest one. But as a longtime Godzilla fan, what makes me happiest is seeing so many people talking about it, debating it, planning merchandise and events around it, and audiences around the world embracing a Japanese-language Godzilla film. This Godzilla is neither “Minus” nor “Zero.” For humanity, it can only be a “plus.” And that goes for Minami Hamabe’s return to the world stage as well.
