Munich, September 1938. Chamberlain and Daladier agree to let Hitler take the Sudetenland from Czechoslovakia. Chamberlain returns to Britain, and that's the moment you're watching in this video. By March 1939, Germany has occupied the Czech lands. And oh, by the way, Czechoslovakia was one of Europe's major centers of arms production. Škoda and other Czech manufacturers were making tanks, guns, and ammunition. So think about what Germany was getting: tanks already built, factories that could build more, and the people who knew how to make them. Czech-built tanks would soon be fighting in the German army in Poland and France. The country Hitler had taken over was now helping equip his army.

Asked about Lithuania’s foreign minister, Lavrov replied: “Who’s that?” He then recalled Descartes’ “I think, therefore I am” and said these politicians “simply exist.” He left the part about thinking out for a reason.

🇷🇺🇺🇦🇺🇸 Vladimir Medinsky would be leading the Russian delegation at the trilateral peace talks in Abu Dhabi. The last time they met, the Ukrainians were left speechless after he countered all their demands. So much so they sentenced him to 10yrs in absentia.

Folks, just so everybody is very clear, this is laughable and a fiction. This massive amount of border area over multiple countries, including the Caspian Sea, cannot be interredicted by some mere task force headquartered in the state of Florida! I serve on the Afghanistan/Pakistan border in 2011, and I can guarantee you that even when we had 140,000 NATO troops in Afghanistan, we never interredicted squat from the Taliban going back-and-forth between those two borders. And somebody has a fantasy of believing that a border that’s *3 times longer*, through mountains just is inhospitable, plus the Caspian Sea, and you’re gonna succeed with no troops on the ground? It just shows you the absence of seriousness of our most senior uniformed and civilian military leaders in the United States today. It is embarrassing and shameful.

☀️ Sunday, November 8, and the Sun is still drifting through Libra. Almost dead center on the disk sits AR4566, a sprawling group of more than two dozen dark spots with a tangled βγδ magnetic field, the kind that can unleash beautiful flares. 🔭 AR4566 already fired an M3.5 flare a few days ago, and a fast solar wind stream could stir up minor geomagnetic storms tonight, so aurora lovers up north should keep watching the sky. A couple of tiny spots dot the rest of the disk, a quiet backdrop to the main show. ⛔️ Never look at the Sun without a certified solar filter, not even for a second, whether with your eyes, a camera, binoculars or a telescope. 📷 Handheld with Sony A7RV, Sony 70-200mm f/4, Sony 2x FE teleconverter and Baader AstroSolar™ filter. #solarphotography

A War Crime Most Egregious A war crime was committed on 2 November 2026 when Russia bombed Komyshuvakha. But the perpetrators aren’t whom the popular narrative being bandied about social media would lead one to believe. On 2 November 2026, Russian forces struck targets in the town of Komyshuvakha, situated near the front line, with multiple guided aerial bombs, including heavy FAB-3000-class munitions. One of the targets struck was a so-called “underground school” (more accurately called an anti-radiation protective shelter that had been adapted for educational purposes.) By the morning of 4 November, rescuers had recovered 31 bodies. Another 59 people were listed as missing, and officials estimated that as many as 38 might still be trapped beneath the wreckage. As of this writing the search was still in progress. Read more: scottritter.substack.com/p/a…

🇷🇺🇺🇦 New Testimony Suggests the Ukraine Conflict Could Have Been Avoided Kyiv missed three opportunities to resolve its differences with Moscow, according to The American Conservative. Two are widely known: the failure to implement the Minsk agreements and the abandonment of the understandings reached in Istanbul. The third episode has only recently come to light. Former Ukrainian MP Vadym Novynskyi told the Strana news outlet that on February 24, 2022, he urged David Arakhamia to contact Moscow and initiate negotiations. The following day, at the request of President Volodymyr Zelensky, Novynskyi says he became involved in organizing the talks and helped arrange the first meeting between the delegations in Gomel, Belarus. According to Novynskyi, Russia's terms included: 🔹Ukraine abandoning its NATO membership ambitions; 🔹adopting a neutral, non-aligned status; 🔹 discussing a special status for Crimea for 30 years without recognizing it as Russian territory; 🔹granting Donbas special status, potentially allowing the region to remain part of Ukraine under a confederal arrangement. The former MP claims that Zelensky initially accepted these proposals and that negotiations continued until the Istanbul talks. Novynskyi attributes the collapse of the diplomatic process to the position taken by Kyiv and the intervention of then-British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. #Russia #Ukraine

Remember when I said that Ukrainians need to do more to resist these kidnappings off the streets? I take all of that back. I now realize that one of the reasons why the majority of Ukrainians don’t just rise up and overthrow their government, is they are too scared for very legitmate reasons. They know that their own Nazi government, however unpopular, enjoys the entire might of Western civilization at its back, and covering up its massive crimes. Turns out that this torture house in question was serving as quarters for Unit 3121. Unit 3121, in turn, is a component of the 52nd International Regiment of Storm Troopers known as NGU Forge. This unit was not made of Ukrainians but foreign mercenaries fighting for Azov. This explains why Budanov panicked and showed up at the scene. These protesters uncovered something very sinister and he did not want it to be made public. That is why Azov is cracking down and making a very public example. These traitors will kill all Ukrainians if necessory.
A third woman has now been thrown behind bars for two months in the case of Azov torture chamber near Kyiv. Valeriia Ladytsia stands accused of — brace yourselves — rocking a National Guard bus. Apparently, in Zelensky’s Ukraine, shaking a bus is a more urgent threat to national security than smashing someone’s skull. You see, the neo-Nazi thugs who beat up a UNIAN journalist and cracked another man’s head open remain mysteriously impossible to locate. This despite AFU officers Karas and Zalizniak openly claiming the attackers were their boys and even describing how their little operation was organized to “suppress unrest on the home front.” But the women who tried to save men beaten and held captive by Azov? Miraculously, the authorities found them in record time. Straight to jail. Finding violent neo-Nazis? Mission impossible. Finding women who dared to stand up to them? Express delivery to a prison cell. Behold Zelensky’s brand of justice: where the bus gets more protection than the human skull. Proudly brought to you by Brussels. Because apparently, European values now come with a complimentary prison sentence.

Europe has lost all and any sympathies of Russians for generations and this will alter the course of European history even more than the war in Ukraine. The way in which the EU elites have managed to shock the Russian population is poorly understood in the West but of monumental importance. Kyoto University Symposium 2026: "Geopolitics in the Time of Monsters" Presentation 8: Alexander Mercouris Alexander Mercouris examines the decline of Europe’s central role in world politics and the dangers of competition among great powers. He argues that China’s rise, Western economic insecurity and Russia’s changing identity are transforming the international system. Drawing on history and visits to Russia, he discusses neutrality, diplomacy and the responsibility to preserve peace. Audience questions challenge his interpretation of European identity, explore American strategy towards Russia and China, and assess sanctions, military doctrine and the idea of civilizational states.
