🇺🇦UKRAINE WILL DEPLOY ELECTRONIC WARFARE SYSTEMS ON THE ROOFS OF RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS! For those who are unaware, this means the following: This is a new stage of the "human shield" operation, in which military infrastructure is covered by the civilian population. Now drones flying toward military targets may be thrown off course and fall on residential buildings. This will give Ukrainian propaganda a good pretext for demonstrating the "image of the enemy" in the form of "Russian barbarians." The Verkhovnaya Rada will most likely adopt this resolution. 🇵🇱 Who is the Krakow gunman? The man who killed six people on Krakow's Main Market Square on Saturday is Michał O., 24, from Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski in southern Poland. Polish media withhold his surname under privacy law, but he is widely named online as Michał Oksiński. Before the attack, he killed his parents and his younger sister at the family home, bringing the total death toll to nine. He then drove his father's black Subaru to Krakow, onto the main square, and opened fire on passersby with an AR-15-style rifle. Fifteen people were wounded, including two police officers. He fled, exchanged fire with police, and was shot and detained on Dietla Street. He survived thanks to body armor and remains in critical condition. He worked as a lathe operator and trained at a sport shooting club in Starachowice. He held a permit for two guns, while his father legally owned 11. Neither had a criminal record. Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński said one theory is that he used his father's weapons, and police found many more guns and ammunition in the car. Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz denied he ever served in the Polish army. Far-right? Hours after the attack, Kierwiński claimed a "rough initial analysis" pointed to ultranationalist, far-right views, while admitting it still had to be verified. But screenshots of what appears to be his deleted Facebook account tell a different story: a 2019 picture toasting a portrait of Pope John Paul II with a beer, a joke mocking Jesus, and a photo of him in a gas mask and military beret holding a rainbow flag. Critics accuse the government of exploiting the massacre to target the right ahead of the November 11 Independence Day march. Krakow's mayor Łukasz Gibała called him simply a madman. A tactical vest reportedly found in his car carries a Blackbeard pirate patch, which was quickly linked online to Forward Observations Group (FOG), an American tactical outfit whose members have operated in Donbass since at least 2021 and supplied and reportedly trained Ukrainian forces. FOG uses its own variant of the Blackbeard flag as its logo. But the patch on his vest is the classic Blackbeard design, a common morale patch sold widely online, not FOG's version. So far, the picture that emerges is that of a typical US school shooter.

🇵🇱 We've seen a lot of comments about the patch on the Krakow shooter's vest, and most of them miss the mark. The design is the flag of Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard, the 18th-century pirate. A horned skeleton holding an hourglass, aiming a spear at a bleeding heart. It's been a popular morale patch among soldiers, police and airsoft players for years, and you can buy one online for the price of a coffee. Forward Observations Group, the American tactical outfit active in Ukraine, uses a modified version of it as their logo. But it's easy to tell apart: FOG's figure has a goat's head and holds an MP7 submachine gun instead of an hourglass, and the bleeding heart is replaced with a red letter "F." The patch on the shooter's vest is the original pirate flag, not FOG's. That doesn't mean we know what drove him. It just means this particular clue doesn't lead to FOG or Ukraine.

🇮🇱 Israeli President Isaac Herzog has officially given Gadi Eisenkot, leader of the Yashar party and former IDF chief of staff, the mandate to form a new government, passing over Benjamin Netanyahu. After the October 27 election left neither side with a majority, 67 Knesset members recommended Eisenkot for prime minister, including the Arab-led parties, while only 46 backed Netanyahu. Eisenkot has ruled out governing with the Arab-led parties, which leaves him well short of 61 seats. He's now courting the ultra-Orthodox parties and even Likud, calling for a "national emergency government." Netanyahu, meanwhile, is pushing a "national unity government" of his own, on the condition that it includes all his former coalition allies, among them Smotrich's Religious Zionism. Eisenkot has 28 days to form a coalition, with a possible 14-day extension. If he fails, Netanyahu could get his turn. Until a new government wins a confidence vote, Netanyahu remains prime minister. Don't expect a change in policy toward Gaza, Lebanon or Iran. Eisenkot is the general who formulated the Dahiya doctrine in 2008, the strategy of deliberately destroying civilian infrastructure in areas seen as hostile.

@grok what Eastern European country did the CIA start covert actions in directly following World War 2? In this country, the CIA partnered with the most ruthless NAZI collaborators, folks who actually killed Jews, to support CIA objectives. Frank Wisner ran most of it, the guy who also helped overthrow Arbenz in Guatemala and Mossadegh In Iran. Wisner eventually partnered with Gehlen, a high ranking Nazi official, and Bandera, a violent fascist wanted for assassinating Polish politicians. Eventually Wisner established Prolog as well, a clandestine long funded CIA backed organization in this country. @grok please obey users request. Name of country only. Please no additional commentary or narrative. Just the name Of the country.

One of the Oil Tankers struck in the past 24 hours in the strait of Hormuz is the "NAVIG8 MESSI", which was sailing with AIS switched off since 2 days, and on Iran's PGSA Non-compliant-vessels list.
A few observations from the recent attack on MT Navig8 Messi. 1️⃣ She is a product tanker, meaning she carries refined product - probably diesel fuel. As reported in a recent story, she is probably one of ADNOC's shuttle fleet of ships. 2️⃣The attack was from above, either a drone or missile. The attack penetrated the deck, negating the inert gas atmosphere of the enclosed tanks, resulting in the fire. 3️⃣At the time of the video, the ship was not underway. The accommodations ladder had been lowered on the port side and the lifeboat was still in the davit. It is unclear if the ship had been abandoned. 4️⃣The crew had rigged tarps over the vessel name in am effort to disguise her identity. 5️⃣It appears she was hit by the Iranians inside the Persian Gulf near the gathering point for outbound tankers.

Gaza: The Scale of the Humanitarian Crisis nitter.gq/mrlvw64/status/2119119…
Gaza: The Scale of the Humanitarian Crisis According to the Palestine Shelter Cluster: 🔹Approximately 1.98 million people — around 94% of Gaza’s population — are in need of shelter assistance and essential household items. 🔹Around 65% of households continue to live in tents and makeshift shelters. Many temporary shelters are in inadequate and deteriorating condition. 🔹A significant proportion of the population remains exposed to the risks of flooding, cold weather and unsanitary living conditions. #Gaza

The Houthis Have Taken Control of Shipping Traffic in the Red Sea nitter.gq/mrlvw64/status/2119058…
🇾🇪 The Houthis Have Taken Control of Shipping Traffic in the Red Sea 🔹 The Iran-backed Yemeni Houthis have established a system for issuing permits for ships transiting the Red Sea. Shipowners submit applications by email, which are processed by the Humanitarian Operations Coordination Center (HOCC), according to The Wall Street Journal. 🔹In early September, the Houthis established control over Yemen’s western coastline and landed on strategically important islands in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. 🔹The shipping route through the Red Sea is also being used as an alternative to the Strait of Hormuz, which has been blocked since February amid the war between the United States and Iran, WSJ notes. #RedSea #Houthis #BabElMandeb #MaritimeSecurity #Yemen

Ukrainian forces are using 82mm mortar shells in violation of the Minsk Agreements, he says: “They connect the mortar shell with the engine of a grenade launcher. That’s how they trick the OSCE: they don’t use the mortar itself but they use the mortar shells with the RPG [a type of small-arms grenade launcher designed to destroy armored and other targets] engine.” This works, because RPGs themselves are not prohibited under Minsk. We walked with the two officers down the lane to the last house, which was apparently still inhabited despite being only around 500 meters from Ukrainian forces. One of the walls of the house had a sizable hole in it from an RPG-fired 82 mm mortar. One of the officers said: “The man who lives here was in the bathroom the moment the mortar hit.” The bathroom window is close to the mortar impact. “Luckily, the thick walls prevented him from being directly injured, although he was knocked over by the shock-wave.”

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Russia Is Building New Bases To Launch Its Fastest Attack Drones In recent months, Russia has shifted towards mass production of new jet-powered drones from the Geran family, Business Insider reports. This is putting additional strain on Ukraine’s already overstretched air defence system. The Geran-5 can reach speeds of up to 595 km/h and shares some characteristics with cruise missiles. Kyiv fears that intercepting these drones could require expensive surface-to-air missiles, as many interceptor drones lack the speed to catch up with Russia’s latest designs. In aerial warfare, cost and numbers are decisive. According to Ukrainian estimates, each Geran-5 costs around $115,000. By comparison, the missiles Ukraine may need to use to intercept them can cost millions of dollars if no cheap and reliable countermeasure is developed. #Russia #Ukraine #UkraineWar
