I pray you succeed, @duma_boko. Bringing back passenger trains will ease A1 traffic and boost revenue. A profitable Air Botswana & BMC could mean billions for the economy. May you deliver on your promises Mminathoko. Transform our country for the better.

This has to be a success. It also doesn’t have to compete with normal Combis for prices and routes. It only has to be convenient, safe and reliable.
We self sabotage mate. Ask yourself why passenger train e ne e nna e wele hela yet we don’t see freight train e wa. Batswana collude and re senyetsa tax payers. This is why we need to increase penalties so people can know go senyetsa sechaba is severely punished.

We can't address it because everyone (middle class) wants to appear to be doing better that everyone else...the discourse will dismantle the facades that many of us have cultivated and built for years...facades that are so deeply incoded in us that we believe that's the real us.

Good choice.
Rumor has it that Botswana Post was failing dismally at the job…we cannot entertain mediocre service delivery when people’s lives are at stake.
Might as well try someone else.
We have lost lives and millions of pulas under Bots Post contract, and no one will be held accountable. The ministry took right decision and I welcome EG, hopefully they will deliver better

Even in 2026, Botswana's institutions and parastatals are littered with OFFICIALS who stifle opportunities for others, that time the economy is tekatiking. Ke yone "work culture".

bought some hangover meal at Kilimanjaro on Saturday and for the past 48+ hours, I’ve used more toilet papers than I ever did in my entire life. Ampore. I wish I had trusted my nose when I picked a foul smell on morogo but I dismissed it thinking maybe I had taken a few pints 🍺

Madi a dingalo. You can have two people, one earning double the others earning, leave them for 10 years and come back to see that the one who earned less has invested more and has more income generating assets.
I don’t like Riverwalk mall for that very reason. They have a lax security. Mine was broken into around 2022/2023 and they couldn’t even assist with CCTV or anything. It’s one of the malls, I avoid tota

I see you Bro @StizzyWizzyRay. Crack that whip!

Lesego ga le tlhakanelwe. Yes there’s unemployment but it doesn’t mean all of us are exposed to the same opportunities. I can tell you, the recent graduates can find employment before you who graduated donkey years ago.😬I graduated after my course mates but I got employment before them. Life gaena formula.
The greatest boss I have ever worked under. I wouldn’t have chosen any other. A man so patriotic, firm & decisive. The bullying, harassment, discrimination & abuse that many Batswana endures in work places, will soon come to an end.
We will make this country safe & better.

I always say they should have kept the diamond mining co under expat management at CEO and GM level. Then Batswana can manage from there downward. Motswana always comes with a, “what’s in it FOR ME?” stance in these positions. And that comes with a lot of mismanagement imo 🫠.
Replying to @LeboSpeaks
Lebo, have you realised that ever since they localised the CEO position, Mascom lost market share? The previous Orange CEO was so good, the one yole wa Dr. He really expanded Orange especially during 2020. Each year Mascoms lead was shrinking🤦♂️.

Batswana has adopted a fitness culture and im glad to see it. Every morning i see people jogging, running and even cycling on side walks, individually and in groups. Some even have reflective vests.
