They hold democrats to a higher standard than their own party.
Congrats, Democrats. You wanted the power, now you've got it. So here's the bill, due by February: Gas under $2. Free healthcare. Free food. Free college. Every last Epstein file released. And don't even try blaming Trump anymore. You run the show now. Every broken promise from here on has your name on it. Let's see you deliver. 🇺🇸

This incomplete facility in Mombasa had a proposed cost of Ksh1.8b as per the Auditor General. The accounting officer for the Mombasa County Stadium project irregularly suspended its contract, with completed works to the tune of 600m or approximately 35%. -Nation Stadiums are the easiest way for people to steal money since Uhuruto assumed office.

The craziest part of this race is that in 2022, President Biden nominated Scott Colom to be a federal judge. He clearly has the qualifications, and most people on both sides of the aisle supported him The one person who kept him from being on the bench Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith
🚨 BREAKING: DEMOCRAT SCOTT COLOM NOW LEADS BY 1,883 VOTES IN MISSISSIPPI! 🔵 Scott Colom: 466,420 (49.05%) 🔴 Cindy Hyde-Smith: 464,537 (48.85%) With over 95% reporting, Colom has pulled ahead of the GOP incumbent in the Senate race. MISSISSIPPI REALLY COULD FLIP BLUE! 🔥

The World Bank says Kenya spends about 10% of its GDP, roughly Sh1.6 trillion, on public procurement annually. However, in FY2024/25, only Sh410 billion had some procurement information published. (This means about Sh1.2 trillion lacked published procurement information).

But the idea that milk shortage is being caused by affordable housing workers is absolutely absurd. They take Kenyans as FOOLS TO THE CORE.

Dear Young Ones who will vote in 2027. As an old man I want to tell you that 99.9% of the quality of your life is shaped by the people elected to run the Government every election year. Some of us millennials have lived this reality of “Atamaliza aende” and it never happens.

SGR Gravy Train The World Bank says Kenya overpaid up to 117 billion shillings for the construction of the Mombasa-Naivasha Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), compared with similar projects by peers like Tanzania, partly because of fraud in land compensation and an uncompetitive contract award. #NTVTonight @DannMwangi

One of the reasons I need Housing Levy gone. Also, payslips are bearing too heavy a brunt that it is hurting consumption.
Kwame Owino, CEO of the Institute of Economic Affairs, raises concerns about Kenya's weak consumer demand and infrastructure securitization: — Kenya still has a negative output gap, suggesting the economy could grow faster. Owino argues that high deductions from workers' incomes are suppressing consumption and employment. — He questions whether the economic benefits of building an additional 200K–300K affordable homes annually justify the reduction in disposable income caused by the housing levy. — Owino acknowledges the rationale for infrastructure securitization but questions the lack of consolidated disclosures on how much has been securitized, the proceeds raised and the obligations created. — He warns that securitizing future revenues, including the Road Maintenance Levy Fund, could compromise funding for future road maintenance. — He draws parallels with the SGR, arguing that major infrastructure projects have previously been promoted without sufficient disclosure of their financial risks. — His central concern is that securitization does not eliminate fiscal risk. It can merely transfer future obligations elsewhere, making transparency and accountability critical.

Ukiona hivi, he wants to lend to his companies. He does nothing that doesnt directly benefit him
President William Ruto says the government is setting up an Industrialisation Fund. He says the target of the Industrialisation Fund will be to lend to manufacturers at single digits. He hasn't said how it will be capitalised. There's also a proposed Green Investment Fund being set up targeting US$200 million (Kes 25.99 billion) in capitalisation (see quoted tweet).
