Everything about Naveen Peter was a joy to be around, every single time. Just no age to go, man. Absolutely heartbroken this morning. Rest easy, Naveen, you'll not be forgotten by those who had the privilege of knowing you.
We didn’t meet too often, but whenever we did, he greeted me with that broad, unmistakable smile. When I moved to Mumbai nearly a decade ago, Naveen Peter was among the few who made sure I was introduced to the non-cricketing folks. Waking up to the news of his untimely demise is deeply shocking. Travel well, my friend. And keep spreading that smile.

I've been appointed the first CEO of the @IndSuperLeague under its new club-led model. It's hard to put into words what this means to me. To explain, I have to go back to where it started.

We’re a bunch of creatives that do content in sport looking for a space to work out of long term, in Bangalore - preferably central. Old houses turned into work spaces is the dream. Small, non-plush co-working spaces would be great too. The garish ones, only if we have to. HELP.

When you solve actual problems like running businesses off WhatsApp, you get sticky users. If you get 1 user, you will get 10 then 100. That’s the story of my non-technical real estate friend, Sid who built Munshi that helps another friend of mine, Vinod run his catering business off WhatsApp. Do give it a shot. Sid loves feedback more than I love Chelsea. Munshi - Chief of staff 📝 Available now on the app store apps.apple.com/in/app/munshi…

No, it wasn't India's under-15 team. The Gothia Cup is not a national competition, now matter how much Bajaj saab calls it that way. It's an open tournament where club teams from around the world arrive. Most don't send their best age group teams. Just because Bajaj saab's team won it, doesn't mean it is some elite development competition.
In football, can you imagine India beating Brazil in the final by 2-1 and win the Gothia cup in Sweden 😳 and that too after defeating England 12-0 and France by 17-1 🤔 ? Proud that most players were from Manipur. Yes! This actually happened 👆🇮🇳🏆 That's India's U-15 team from Minerva Academy / Ranjit Bajaj's squad making history at the Gothia Cup 2026 in Sweden - the world's biggest youth football tournament. What they pulled off: 1. Beat England 12-0 2. Beat France 17-1 3. Won Helsing Cup in Europe a week earlier 4. Final: Beat Brazil 2-1 to win the Gothia Cup. They won 8 matches straight and scored 86 goals in the whole tournament. "European Double" complete - Helsing Cup + Gothia Cup back to back 😳 The clips show: - Kids in orange India jerseys celebrating goals - The goalkeeper screaming "BACK TO BACK CHAMPIONS" - Fans waving tricolor in the stands - Team lifting the Gothia Cup trophy with "GOTHIA CUP FINALS" board behind - Ranjit Bajaj with tricolor draped, holding medal This is huge because in a country where cricket gets all the money and football still struggles for support, these kids proved talent isn't the problem - opportunity is. Absolutely viral-worthy moment for Indian football ✌️

HAHAHAHA what a crybaby. Take the hint, you grifter
Radio silence from #mufc early this morning amid enquiry on Tielemans before it emerged. Drastic change of plans after missing out on prime midfield targets. A good player but sense of chaos engulfing United. Missing out on targets, a deal collapsing and moving for older target than intended. Club also denied they had agreed £48m + £2m in add-ons for Andrey Santos last week, only for it to be confirmed the following day.

Genuinely cannot stand this charlatan. A total fraud and the worst thing about modern football.
Replying to @LukeEdwardsTele
where did I lie? I said Julián wants to go, as he just confirmed. I said Barça want him and up to Atléti, and that’s the case. Lies? Zero. You did 500 tweets saying Isak was gonna stay… or Trafford going NUFC same day went City. Think about yourself, then you talk about me. 🤗

Not often you come across a video clip of a teenage Andy Mitten, selling the United We Stand in the 90s! Such great days, they were. How old were you here, @AndyMitten? @UWSmag
