This should infuriate and disgust every single American. We can’t keep living like this.
NEW: Angie Nixon is running for Senate on a huge bet: Medicare for All can win over Trump voters in Florida. To put that theory to the test, we brought Nixon to one of the unhealthiest counties in Florida — where 1 in 5 lives in poverty, thousands are uninsured, and doctors are few and far between.

It was so lovely to speak with the undergrads of @NYUWagner about political communications and the need for young voices, especially with a consequential midterm election on the horizon.

Looks like the long-awaited bike lanes on Cortelyou and Dorchester are finally going in!
We are excited to hear that @nycmayor is prioritizing the long-delayed bike lane network in Flatbush, East Flatbush, and Midwood. We have been advocating for this network for years, both to protect cyclists and to improve safety for all road users in our neighborhoods.

Made my in-studio NY1 debut this weekend to talk about voter registration, early voting, and the NYC Voter Guide Many are saying this is the worst TV performance from a political press secretary they have seen all month..

New Yorkers ages 25–55 will be able to earn a college degree for free starting in January 2027. Governor Kathy Hochul is expanding the Reconnect program to include adults who already have a degree in a different field. It covers eligible associate degree programs at SUNY and CUNY community colleges in fields such as healthcare, cybersecurity and advanced manufacturing. Tuition, fees, books and supplies are covered to help adults train for new careers. [📸: GETTY ]

This would increase New York State unionization by 10%!
CDPAP caregivers across New York are voting to join the 1199 family, gaining the support, advocacy, and collective power that make the union difference. Read more about the historic moment by @nytimes here: digital.1199seiu.org/nytcdpa…

I’m glad Nikole Hannah-Jones wrote that essay. I went in thinking I’d roll my eyes, but came out feeling a great deal of empathy and also pain. I went through NYC public schools from K-12. My high school (James Madison HS) had airport-style scanning machines for us to go through every morning. The school boasts such alumni as Bernie Sanders, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Judge Judy, and Chuck Schumer. What happened to NYC public schooling from then to now? The answer is that we, the students, did not fail. We were failed.

NEW: I’m now Press Secretary for NYC’s Campaign Finance Board! Big money is poisoning politics across America. But the best city in the world also has the best antidote in the world: a robust public financing program for local elections. I’m proud to be on the team that runs it!

It’s wild to think about, but the press has quoted, featured, or interviewed me on my work or my perspectives every single week for the last 5-6 months with no signs of stopping. All the hard work is paying off. Grateful to all those who support or value what I bring to our city.
