God appeared to Abraham in physical form. He ate and drank with him, yet God is an invisible spirit. How can this be? God is more complex than man's theologies can comprehend. He doesn't fit in anyone's box. Abraham didn't necessarily recognize the three visitors in Genesis 18 as divine at first. The text indicates this by referring to them as "men". Even though they didn't appear to be anyone special, Abraham didn't send a servant for a mere cup of water for the three visitors. He ran to get a feast started. Hospitality was clearly a high priority for him, and we can tell from Yeshua's later instructions that it's a high priority for God too.

Jordan: The Christians of St. George Orthodox Church in Hammoud Village, Karak Governorate. These photos reflect happier moments. Today, their church was savagely attacked by ISIS. Seven lost their lives – many more were maimed and injured. Please pray for them. May the Holy Spirit minister to them powerfully amidst their present grief and pain. H/T - @chunguskitten

One example: the Genesis Rabbah on Genesis 22 affirms * 3-day resurrection typology throughout the OT * intergenerational imputation of merit resulting from the binding of Isaac—the 3 days of the ordeal, the act of worship involved, & the weapon of execution—the benefits of which transfer to the people of God, resulting in all future blessings & deliverances they experience * Abraham & Isaac’s donkey as a foreshadow of the Messiah coming on a donkey in Zech 9:9 * Isaac carrying the wood compared to a man bearing his own cross / gibbet

I also wanted to pull out a special part of the piece: fuck Jensen Huang. By forcing customers to take early delivery of GPUs to boost quarterly revenues, he artificially inflated the price of RAM and every consumer electronic. He and his hyperscale paypigs are scumbags.
Free newsletter: In July, Apollo Economist Torsten Slok said that "AI better work out, or we have a problem." Facing ever-growing high-interest debt, negative-EBITDA AI labs and $200bn+ in warehoused GPUs, that's exactly what the AI industry has. wheresyoured.at/ai-had-bette…

Credit Default Swaps for Oracle, Broadcom, and Nvidia continue to widen out, with Oracle at a 23% default probability, Nvidia at about 8%, and Broadcom at 12%. Which is pretty amazing, given these are among the largest companies in the world.

"What do I owe society?", asked the guy in the green.
“I’m old. I’ve paid my home off,” said Ray Warner, a 72-year-old Akron resident. “Why would I pay property tax?” Across the country, homeowners are asking the same question and revolting against property taxes at a scale not seen in a half century. politico.com/news/magazine/2…

Modest proposal: Boomers don't have to pay property tax. I don't have to pay for their morbid obesity and inflation adjusted 'fixed income'
Fact: 1% of all federal spending is dialysis for boomers on Medicare

Remember falling asleep on the couch during family holiday gatherings? You could hear the adults talking and laughing in the background, dishes being put away, and the TV playing softly. You didn't have a care in the world. You just knew everyone was there, and you were safe. It's funny how much you miss those ordinary nights, especially the people who made them feel like home.

They shall wash their hands and their feet, so that they may not die. (Exodus 30:21) Peter said to him, “You shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no share with Me.” (John 13:8)

✅ FACT: The container ship GFS Pride sunk in the Omani traffic lane today while sailing under the protection of American forces and regional partners, which clearly control the Strait of Hormuz.
✅ FACT: The United States Navy has not had a vessel transit the Strait of Hormuz since early May. ✅ FACT: The lone United States Navy base in the CENTCOM AOR was disabled on the first day of the conflict, it was evacuated two days later. ✅ FACT: Despite claims that American forces and regional partners clearly control the Strait of Hormuz, multiple vessels have turned back on orders of the IRGC. ✅ FACT: Despite claims that American forces and regional partners clearly control the Strait of Hormuz, at least two dozen commercial ships have been hit by Iran in October alone, including two today. The most of any month during this conflict. It is October 13th.

This month marks 500 years since a small, illegal book began slipping into England hidden in bales of cloth and barrels of goods. It was William Tyndale’s English New Testament, and it changed the world. Published in 1526, it was the first English NT translated directly from the original Greek… but Tyndale was far more than a translator. He was a scholar, theologian, linguist, reformer, and martyr whose work helped reshape the English Bible, the English language, and the Reformation itself. Here is why we need to remember this remarkable man: 📖 Tyndale believed Scripture belonged in the hands of ordinary Christians, not locked behind Latin, clerical authority and scholarly privilege. When challenged by a wealthy clergyman, he famously declared: "I defy the Pope and all his laws. If God spares my life, ere many years I will cause a boy that driveth the plough to know more of the Scriptures than thou dost." To do it, he fled England and spent years translating in hiding while authorities hunted him. 🗣️ He shaped the English language. Every time you say: • “The salt of the earth.” • “My brother’s keeper” • “Eat, drink and be merry” • “Go the extra mile” • “Fighting the good fight” • “Broken-hearted” …among so many other phrases, you are quoting Tyndale. When English lacked words for Hebrew concepts, he invented them: atonement, Passover, scapegoat, mercy seat. He even included the first glossary in an English Bible to help readers understand his translation choices. His extraordinary gift for English became the foundation for the King James Version, weaving his words into the very fabric of our language. 👑 The King James translators couldn't improve upon his work. When 54 scholars were commissioned in 1611 to create the King James Bible, they were tasked with producing a brand new translation... but when they sat down to the work, they found they didn't need to reinvent the wheel. Tyndale’s cadence, vocabulary, and grasp of the original languages were so masterful that the committee found they simply could not improve upon his phrasing. They adopted his work as the backbone of their own. Modern computer analysis confirms that roughly 84% of the King James New Testament, and 76% of the Old Testament books Tyndale translated, are essentially Tyndale’s exact words. When you read the King James Bible, you are hearing the voice of William Tyndale. 🔥 He counted the Word worth dying for. Tyndale was betrayed, arrested, and imprisoned in a cold castle for over a year. On October 6, 1536, he was strangled and burned at the stake. His final recorded prayer was not for his own life, but for his enemies: “Lord, open the King of England’s eyes.” Within just a few years, English Bibles were being placed in churches throughout the realm. Tyndale died, but his work lived, and the Word of God went forth. By the providence of God, the work of one faithful man helped to put the Scriptures into the hands of millions upon millions of people for centuries.

Following the meeting of the foreign and defense ministers of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan, the three nations have agreed to activate the Mecca Joint Defense Pact and send forces to Saudi Arabia, due to ongoing hostilities between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis, even though the Houthis were not mentioned by name in the statement on the measure. Per the joint release, Pakistan and Turkey have agreed to “take the necessary measures to provide the agreed military forces and capabilities and ensure their rapid deployment in the Kingdom.”

As a pilot for 20 years I have questions: - where are the cabin crew here? - where are the oxygen masks that automatically drop during a rapid emergency descent? - how did the Capt manage to open the door while being stabbed? - Omani pilots were not allowed to fly to Israel, why was he allowed? - how did the offending pilot get a weapon onboard? - why has this happened so close to elections? - how are passengers walking around while apparently in a nosedive? - who else was injured? Nose dives cause significant g force incidents - why is there two perfectly positioned people recording the incident and not helping? - why did a plumber take control and not the 2 pilots onboard who would certainly know when an aircraft was in a nosedive? - why was the plumber speaking in English to Bibi after the flight - why was he still in his blood soaked clothes 8 hours after the incident False Flags have been a very effective mechanism to influence public opinion Hitler burnt down the Reichstag just before his parliament elections and he won the election…changing the course of history. A full and independent investigation should be carried out here. Hopefully independent journalist will be allowed to view this too.

[Fourth-Wall Break] Back on September 11, I said that if X monetized me, I would donate the money to Tunnels to Towers, a foundation helping surviving first responders of the attacks. X did not monetize me for September 11, and my revenue sharing was reinstated a couple days later. Nevertheless, I donated my paid partnership revenue, as well as a sizeable portion of the surrounding creator revenue sharing amount, amounting to several hundred dollars. I encourage you to donate to Tunnels to Towers or other September 11 survivors’ organizations. Doing the coverage all September made me realize the unimaginable scale of the events’ horror for the first time, and the effects with which many are still living, notably cancers and disabilities. Overall it has been an honor to try and do right by this tragedy, and I hope you will all stick around as I cover the rest of 2001, then 2002, 2003, and onward.
