Strong pro-Israel bias among BBC bosses.
BBC executives met nine times with pro-Israel Jewish groups and just once with pro-Palestinians in first 14 months of genocide👇

Antisemitism is serious.
That’s precisely why it should never be weaponised as a political football. Labour doing so should disgust people across every community.
And all this while they continue to arm a genocide and lock up pensioners.
Antisemitism is a cancer in our politics.
We fought hard to root it out of our party.
We will not stand by and watch it infect public life again.

Apparently Sally Rooney is Antisemitic because she opposes genocide.
People in Ireland are Antisemitic because they oppose genocide.
This is why Andy Burnhams comments yesterday were so deeply irresponsible - blurring all the lines between being Jewish & criticising Israel.
Apparently Russian servers have been hit by a Ukrainian strike and immediately massive online hard right chatter has collapsed.
This particular chatter was in support of Germany’s AFD, their equivalent to Reform, but similar patterns are being seen in hard right movements everywhere, including the UK.
If anyone needed anymore evidence that Russia are driving a massive wave of hard right propaganda in Europe, this is it.
So, all you “patriots” - you’ve been duped by Russia, and you are about as far from patriotic as anyone can be. You are easily brainwashed though. This is how propaganda works.

In 2015 David Cameron privatised the National Fostering Agency, it's now being paid £160m a year straight to a New Jersey tax haven to manage the fostering of just 2,616 children
A tax free profit of £61,000 per child, and they don't even provide any care, that's the fosters job
An intimate psychological drama about consent, the enduring legacy of generational trauma, and the courage it takes to break a family silence.

No, this is not a joke.
UK Lawyers for Israel are trying to proscribe *Médecins Sans Frontières*.
That’d mean they’d be treated as terrorists.
On the same legal footing as ISIS.
Membership would mean 14 years in prison.
This is what we’re dealing with
Shabana Mahmood is being urged by UK Lawyers for Israel to proscribe Doctors Without Borders (MSF) over staff’s alleged links to terrorist groups.

A jury has acquitted an activist of violent disorder at an Israeli-owned arms factory targeted by Palestine Action in August 2024.
William Plastow, 35, was acquitted on Monday at the Old Bailey due to what presiding Judge Patrick Field said was a lack of evidence over the incident in the Filton area of Bristol.
'The prosecution has not produced enough evidence against him to show that he intended that there would be a violent disorder at Filton or that he assisted anyone to commit that offence,' Field said.

🇬🇧 British journalists reporting from countries such as Iran could face “terrorism” prosecutions under a UK national security bill expected to complete its final stages in Parliament this week, according to legal experts cited by The Guardian.
Expert David Anderson warned the legislation could criminalize foreign correspondents for obtaining information from sources within state-designated groups because it lacks explicit protections for journalists.
Press freedom groups are urging ministers to amend the bill, but the Home Office insists legitimate journalism is protected and that claims to the contrary are false.
🔗 Story is linked below.
British foreign correspondents could be at risk of prosecution if they use sources within state-backed groups in countries such as Iran under national security legislation being rushed through parliament this week.
David Anderson, a former UK independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, has warned that unless the bill is amended it could accidentally pull journalists working in danger-zone countries into prosecutions for terrorism.
