Exactly what we need in the absence of a functioning U.S. Department of Justice. An organization of ex-prosecutors and investigators who help can put cases together for current and future prosecutors who will restore accountability for corrupt federal officials and those who benefit from that corruption.
We are facing a crisis of impunity. That's why we built The Rule of Law Project — to investigate unlawful conduct by federal officials, and work with state and local prosecutors to hold them to account.
Watch former DOJ prosecutor Mark Blumberg and human rights leader Brad Adams launch this critical accountability initiative on MSNOW with Nicolle Wallace.

Why is doubles in tennis continues to be treated like the poor relation? The question is asked in an informative blog on realitytennis.WordPress.com. It pin points one example of why the singles/doubles argument is picking up speed in the wake of the @ATPTour 's threat to cut doubles draws & prize money. Yes, money is at the core of the complaint about doubles but too little imagination is being used to find a solution. @HenryPatten will be interested.

JD - I've got 15 free minutes before my son's hockey practice ends, so let me see how many of Trump's enrichment schemes you didn't see that I can remind you of.
1/ First one is easy: Trump has executed over 30,000 stock trades, many on inside information, netting him millions.

When I think of what my mom went through to pass the bar exam, this absolutely enrages me.
.@KatieZacharia is not a lawyer and has never been licensed to practice law. The @WSJ reports this evening that she took the California Bar Exam but failed.
Nevertheless, Zacharia appeared on media programs for YEARS and repeatedly called herself a lawyer.
Here's a super cut:

If any cop deserves to be fired, it's this one.
A father was BRUTALLY ATTACKED by Sgt. Eddie Price of the Mena PD because he was demanding answers. His 2 year old son is missing and they refuse to help despite a judges order, so they arrested the father instead.

Republican Thom Tillis:
“I think Noem and Hegseth are probably the poster children for men and women who should never have the authority they've been granted.”
Tillis voted to approve both of them and he’s only speaking out now because he’s retiring.
Kristi Noem oversaw a rogue US government agency that murdered Renee Goode, Alex Pretti, and Keith Porter.
Pete Hegseth is still in charge of a US military that’s actively committing war crimes and mass murdering schoolchildren.
Tillis speaking out now, after people are dead and war crimes are still being committed, is cowardice disguised as courage.
He is simply trying to save face and rehabilitate his political party that he never had the courage to stand up to when it actually mattered and could have saved lives.

He just gave up on it, and the media is not covering it anymore. This infuriates me. CNN and MSNOW should get their butts over here and do live broadcasts showing this ruined national treasure. Same with the Kennedy Center, and the disaster that is the “ballroom”.
Stop lying. Here's the video of the initial breach. The doors weren't opened calmly by police. The doors were kicked open by rioters.
Replying to @AngryFleas
They did not breach the building. The doors were opened from the inside calmly by police. Several people (less than the number of admitted informants on site that day) broke an external window. This was not used by thousands of people to enter the capital. And even in the footage you can see there are already many people walking around inside the capital while the window is being broken.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The U.S. Capitol was breached on Jan. 6 2021 when Dominic Pezzola broke a window with a stolen police shield allowing initial entry. Rioters who entered then opened some doors from the inside. Footage shows a door later opened from inside allowing hundreds more to enter. justthenews.com/government/con… politico.com/news/2023/04/1…

One of the most shocking and stupid moves of late: George W Bush took part as a “special guest” in a fundraiser, in Dallas, for Republican senate candidates.
So he was unwilling to speak up after Jan 6, and unwilling to campaign against Trump, but happy to support the very senators enabling the agenda that is destroying democracy.

In the @TennisChannel studio @PaulAnnacone and @AndrePetkovic talking about how odd it is that athletes tend to get more nervous on the brink of victory than defeat. Both agree handling nerves play a big part in becoming a champion. Some time ago I asked @RodLaver if he ever choked. "Of course I choke at tough moments." So what did he do about it? "Just give it a bit of a nudge, mate, just a bit of nudge." With that big left arm!
