Was a gargoyle-y type chap at the door

You know how you donate a few coins in a church and get a tiny little candle too light for someone? Well here, you have to buy one from a vending machine ... That takes credit cards cos each candle costs $8 but does burn for about a week. It appeared to be quite the thing 😱

All done... We left New England on 28th and just posted pics of the last one this morning. We did do a tour yesterday of Frank Lloyd Wright buildings in Florida, but mostly we are doing jobs around the house

Obviously, I had a slide down the bannister & Theo was, well, Theo 🙄 The girls (Odesa & Rita) loved the house #NewEngland26

What a lovely house. It's not huge (we didn't have time for huge) but it must have been a fabulous house to live in/visit. We could imagine the parties #NewEngland26

After the church, we headed to Newport, Rhode Island. We only had limited time as we were flying south later in the day but we had time to squeeze in a visit with @IcyPinkLemonade to one of the Newport Mansions - Chateau Sur Mer #NewEngland26

The Church was huge, with a special area for candles, obtained from a fancy vending machine! We realised too late we missed the gift shop! 🤣🤣 We are glad to have Sunny with us #NewEngland26 #NeverForgotten
