In the Scouts’ spirit of “Leave it better than you found it”, as you restore the roads you are digging up to lay the water pipes, is it possible to also consider building pedestrian walkways? More especially on that Bulindo-Nsasa-Namugongo road?
None existed before.

During the ‘Expose the Corrupt’ crusade in Rukungiri District, Rukungiri Dairy Cooperative officials say they were given Sh15m in 2015 by Gen. Salim Saleh to buy land. They constructed the plant and got connected to electricity.
They later partnered with a Chinese supplier for processing machines. Farmers got over Sh500m towards the Sh1b machine cost and paid, but the Chinese supplier delivered the machine with a Sh300m balance still pending; however, the Chinese later stopped the farmers from using the machine until their balance was cleared, calling for Minister Balaam's (@BalaamBarugahar) intervention.

. @Lukowoyesigyire "Kasangati Police Division is investigating the alleged murder of two-year-old Kyomuhando Dartiva Rosaries, whose disappearance was reported by her mother, Atukwatse Lillian, on 27 October 2026.
On the morning of 28 October 2026, a ransom note demanding UGX 10 million was discovered at her mother’s gate.
Police subsequently arrested two suspects in connection with the incident. One of the suspects, Muhumuza Joshua, a pedicurist, reportedly confessed to the crime and led investigators to a maize plantation in Kyetume, Gayaza, where the child’s body was recovered.

Today, as the Head of Programs @kakebetechcamp , I had a fruitful engagement with @ElmaKapelChalla , the Youth Member of Parliament Northern Region in preparation for the #KakebeTechCamp2026.
Given that this year's camp will be hosted in Northern Region (Kitgum), our engagement focused on guidance and support towards the successful execution of the camp. Our discussion focused on aligning the camp with the aspirations and needs of young people in the region.

Some large SACCOs have expanded to balance sheets exceeding UGX1 trillion, becoming significant players in the financial system. @BOU_Official's Kenneth Egesa warns that their links to commercial banks through deposits and borrowing could spread financial distress beyond members if a large SACCO fails, exposing the wider system to contagion risks.

I just wanted to remind you that in the year of our Lord 2002 Justice Frederick Egonda- Ntende nullified Amama Mbabazi's 2001 parliamentary election. He confirmed there was widespread electoral malpractices like voter bribery, intimidation by security forces and illegal use of public resources. Amama appealed the decision and the court of appeal dismissed his petition. I want you to think about the kind of judges Uganda had 20 years ago, and the kind we have now.

The second day of the #IGAD Media and Influencer Training in Nairobi, Kenya, focused on the role of media and digital creators in promoting food systems resilience.
Participants discussed how to share accurate information, verify facts, use reliable sources and create content that informs the public and encourages accountability. They also worked in groups to develop content around soil health and climate advisory services.
By equipping journalists and influencers with the right skills and knowledge, IGAD is strengthening communication efforts to support more resilient food systems across the region.

MY BODA GUY LOST HIS BIKE IN 10 SECONDS
i went with my boda guy to town to shop a few things & told him to park outside Kikubo gate, then the man went to buy some watermelon & returned to find his bike missing,
by the time i arrived, he was crying, asking wat he was going to do with his life, i made a few calls to police to help track the bike
after about 10 minutes, i asked him, bro whose bike are u seated on? he stood up, checked the number plate & we all burst into laughter😁🙌🏿
