Once you understand the incentive, the reason for the behavior becomes obvious: they are importing a left-voting bloc that depends on government handouts.

My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

ATF’s new [Engaged in the Business Rule] even doubles down on the substance of the old Rule, retaining, for example, language from the old Rule that said ATF can regulate gun owners even when they never sell a single firearm.
This flies in the face of this Court’s 2024 Order, which rejected the idea that “actual profit is not a requirement of the statute” and held instead that “action [in the form of selling firearms] is needed, too.”
The Court's 2024 and 2026 Orders were clear: ATF violated the APA when it promulgated the Engaged in the Business Rule, so the Rule cannot stand.
[ATF] cannot avoid the force of those Orders by rearranging a few words between the old Rule and the new one.
Defendants’ Motion is DENIED. The Engaged in the Business Final Rule remains VACATED in its entirety.

This has been the most difficult midterm election to predict with confidence in living memory. The Democrats’ entire strategy rests on the hope of seizing the House so they may return to full-time mudslinging and the empty theatre of impeachment. Their record of prophecy is one long catalogue of failure: Nancy Pelosi’s prediction Trump's tax cuts would be “the greatest disaster in history,” the promised empty shelves and skyrocketing inflation under tariffs, none of it has materialized.
Meanwhile the economy is growing at five percent in Q3, investment pours in, the illegal immigration crisis has been stopped, wages are rising, and the universities are being stripped of their ideological excesses. The old Obama-Biden refrain about the inevitable rise of Communist China is now scarcely within memory.
On Iran, the Democrats are reduced to claiming a Vietnam-style stalemate and forever war, yet the facts show a campaign conducted bloodlessly and relatively inexpensively, successfully strangling the regime while the Gulf’s oil continues to flow. History is clear: successful strategic action just before an election is a great vote-getter.
This is Trump’s last contest. He remains one of the most formidable figures in modern American politics. It would be a serious mistake to underestimate him now.
