I call it genocide because IT IS genocide. Defined by intent, not by method or means. Visible without magnification—if we look with context, at the victims: what they share is being part of a group, as such. Because of it, they get killed, tortured, maimed, starved, raped, massacred. In dozens or hundreds daily. Genocide is a process, not a single act. A collective act. A criminal venture. To end it, we must first be willing to see it.

Today’s UN report stated that Israel uses torture and rape to attack Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and—like in Gaza—they DELIBERATELY KILL CHILDREN. You have to be sick to still defend this.

The fact that our resources are spent helping Israel do this is far more offensive than calling it out in a political ad.

🇵🇸 Israeli forces seized Dr. Mazen al-Rantisi, a 71-year-old Ramallah family doctor known as the "Doctor of the Poor," from his home in Ramallah's al-Tira neighborhood at dawn on June 21. In August, a lawyer for the Detainees Affairs Commission relayed his account of his detention in Ofer prison: ▪️ He was denied his regular medications for his first 10 days and was still without one medication he desperately needs. 
▪️ His repeated requests to see a doctor were refused. His only exam was a pulse check through an opening in his cell door. 
▪️ He lost a large amount of weight on food he described as scant and unfit to eat. 
▪️ Detainees were forced to walk bent over with their hands shackled, made to kneel four times a day during roll calls, insulted and beaten. 
▪️ At least 10 detainees were crammed into cells with six beds, amid raids with beatings and tear gas, mold, insects and no cleaning supplies. He was still wearing the clothes he was arrested in. For more than four decades, al-Rantisi charged patients 30 shekels (about $8) or less, waived fees for those who couldn't pay and answered medical questions by phone for free, often late at night. The Palestinian Prisoners' Club, which received him in Hebron, said signs of beating were visible on his body. 📸 Before/ After photos attached.

He says a jailer dragged him to the release room handcuffed behind his back, shackled at the legs and blindfolded, then shoved and kicked him to the ground. Israeli occupation forces seized al-Rantisi from his home in the al-Tireh neighbourhood of Ramallah in June without announcing any reason, and his daughter says he lost around 25 kilograms in their prisons. He describes Nafha prison as overrun with scabies, affecting nearly 80 percent of the Palestinian hostages held there, with almost no medicine given. When prisoners beg the passing nurse for treatment, he says, they are cursed at, mocked and ridiculed, and he was taunted for taking the chronic medication a court had ordered he receive.
