I had spent six months organising a wealthy family's wedding at a lakeside resort. From the first consultation to the final supplier agreement, I handled everything. The bride trusted me completely. She even told her father that I was the only person who understood exactly what she wanted. Then, two days before the wedding, my director called me into his office and removed me from the project. His favourite employee would take over. When I asked why, he simply said, "It's a management decision." By evening, my name had disappeared from the programme. His name was now listed as the lead coordinator. I handed over the files and walked away. I had no idea that the following morning would expose everything.
