🚨🆘 URGENT SOS: RAWALAKOT, JAMMU & KASHMIR — STOP THE BLOODSHED Grave reports are emerging from Rawalakot of continued heavy gunfire, the use of light machine guns (LMGs), and Pakistani security forces using drones to drop grenades on areas where peaceful protesters have gathered. Civilians are reportedly trapped amid the firing, with serious concerns over the safety of the wounded and access to emergency medical assistance. These are peaceful protesters demanding that the authorities honour four agreements they have already signed. No civilian should face bullets or explosives for demanding accountability. JKJAAC urgently appeals to the United Nations, international human rights organisations, foreign governments and the global media to press for an immediate halt to the firing and reported drone attacks. We demand unrestricted medical access, protection for protesters and residents, independent verification of the casualties, and an impartial international investigation into the reported killings and use of lethal force. The reported use of grenade-dropping drones against peaceful protesters demands immediate international scrutiny.
