Keep in mind the highest comp we can get for Buck is a 5th when he is dealt. 👇
"I think the players that could be on the move for the Colts are DeForest Buckner, Josh Downs, and Grover Stewart..
DeForest Buckner is the one that I think will be dealt next" ~ @AdamSchefter #PMSLive

If I had to guess today I don't think that they will trade Jonathan Taylor" ~ @AdamSchefter

I want to make it super clear
Richardson and jones both suck.
You writing fan fiction about a benched qb doesn’t make Richardson NOT suck.

Maybe I'm wrong but I remain skeptical that the Colts trade JT or Q unless a team makes a BIG offer to force their hand
If someone offered a 1 I bet they'd probably pull the trigger and trade one of them but overall I have my doubts that they would trade either otherwise

People forget that you need good players to sell to the fans, an incoming GM, and potentially an incoming HC.
The Colts may trade 1-2 players, but they won't hand away 3+ players for nothing.
The NFL sees quick turnarounds every year. It can't happen without pillar pieces.

One flaw Chris Ballard has always had is being stubborn about giving his coaches what they want. I am relatively certain Shane Steichen wanted to do more at WR, but Ballard didn’t. Perhaps also at DE.
It ends up reflecting poorly on the coach. And makes evaluating him harder.
NEW: I don’t *think* head coach Shane Steichen will survive the Colts’ organizational shakeup, but I also believe assuming he won’t is naive.
Odds are high he’ll be a head coach in 2027. Will it be in Indy? Stay tuned: espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/5022…

My entire feed is filled with all the other teams in the league making mock trades for Quenton Nelson, Jonathan Taylor or Deforest Buckner.
So let me help all you other fans out, you’re not getting Jonathan Taylor for a 3rd and you’re not getting Big Q for a 5.
Be for real.

Colts assistant general manager Ed Dodds will lead the team’s personnel department for the rest of the season, sources tell @ringer @netflixsports.
A candidate for several GM jobs in recent years, Dodds now takes over a 2-4 Colts roster with 22 days to the trade deadline.
Coach Shane Steichen and the football staff outside of personnel will report to ownership.

You don’t have to like Daniel Jones, but blaming him for this is a bit asinine tbh.
