Indie SaaS bros are fascinating because they hit a freakishly rare career lottery making a shit load of money solo. A 10 year opportunity that doesn't really exist anymore.
They spend all day alone behind a laptop and have poor social skills. They are digital nomads so have no concept of neighbors and community. They mostly criticize every place they stay for longer than 6 months.
But because they are niche Internet micro celebs with wealth, they spawn singularly asinine ideas about how society should work like:
Let's get rid of kitchens in houses.
I think in 10 or 20 years the kitchen and living room combo layout will have disappeared from most homes
Cooking is the primary source of indoor air pollution and you're essentially releasing microscopic toxic gases into your living room and the rest of your house
On top of that 99% of kitchen vents don't do anything
That is, unless we invent some better air cleaning system for kitchens that actually work

The ranking members of the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees have written a letter to President Trump asking whether he has been soliciting advice from Grok in order to help carry out his official duties as President of the United States.
They also demanded that he preserve any prompts sent to Grok, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity, as well as outputs in response to those prompts, that were 'submitted to AI chatbots in carrying out your constitutional, statutory, or other official or ceremonial duties.'
The letter was provided by Politico.
