Sam Altman just ran out of buyers at his price, and the AI bubble is GAME OVER.
The money that carried this entire boom is pulling back, and the tech bros buying this dip are about to learn what every homebuyer learned in 2006.
Watch this TERRIFIC video from @JayMartinBC comparing AI to the housing bubble.
His point is that the housing bust really started in 2006, while prices were still at record highs, because borrowers paid off their old loans by refinancing against a higher price. When the gains shrank from the mid-teens to single digits, the refinancing stopped working and the loans started going bad.
OpenAI runs on the same engine. It loses billions every year and pays yesterday's bills by raising money at a higher price, so the only number that matters is how much higher each new price comes in.
Every time OpenAI has been priced since early 2024, the new mark came in 67% to 91% above the one before it.
This month they went out to raise $30B at $1.4T, a 64% markup, and investors pushed back on the price, so it came down to $1.25T. Then on Friday we learned some of them cut what they were willing to put in, so the round shrank by a third to about $20B, and the first close is expected to come in below even that. One person familiar with the round said every earlier raise was a frenzy and this one landed with a thud.
The markup just fell to 47% with a third less money behind it. The valuation is still going up while the speed is breaking, and that's how housing looked in 2006.
What worries me most is who they go after next:
OpenAI first pitched $1.4T to private wealth clients, and even they pushed back. Now the reports say the gap could be filled later with another offering to wealthy individuals at $1.25T. In 45 years I've watched the individual investor end up as the last buyer in every bubble, and that's who they're coming for now.
OpenAI is also the customer at the end of the entire AI chain. Oracle's backlog leans on a $300B OpenAI contract and CoreWeave has up to $22.4B, and both borrowed heavily to build for it. When the end buyer struggles to raise money, the suppliers who borrowed against its promises feel it first.
And the collateral is WORSE this time.
A house in 2006 was still a house 10 years later, but the chips inside these data centers are outdated in about 3 years while the debt used to buy them runs far longer.
The market is already pricing it. On Friday the Nasdaq 100 fell 3.5% for its worst day since June, and the chip index dropped 7.2%.
This is why we shorted CoreWeave at $107 and Oracle at $189.97, and why we pressed the CoreWeave short at $81.58 earlier this month. CoreWeave is now down 49% from our entry and Oracle is down 31%. All 12 of our scored shorts are winners, and our long/short spread is 70%.
And don't buy this dip. I'd trim anything that depends on OpenAI paying its bills, and I'd own gold and businesses that generate real cash today. If you want the names I'm investing in, join The Noble Update.
IT'S GAME OVER

Is he done ranting about the 24K I pay for his housing scam because kuna hii 43k I pay every month for his SHA scam we also need to discuss. Tukimaliza hio ndio tuongee juu ya the 500k in PAYE he takes every single month and splashes on tea and mandazi pale state house all the while insulting us the taxpayers that carry the burden of his greed. In 2027 we are cutting the fat out of our budget to bring relief to all Kenyan workers. The housing levy will go with Ruto.

Africa's recent progress is undeniable but the continent is just getting started. Its landmass, natural wealth, and demographic advantage are unmatched. With strategic direction, Africa can not only transform itself but also rebalance global dynamics. The new map is more than symbolic - it's a reflection of real potential.

France gathered 400 Muslim scholars and beheaded them. In 1917 AD, during the occupation of Chad. In 1852, when France entered the city of Laghouat in Algeria, it killed two-thirds of its population in a single night and burned them alive.
France occupied Algeria for 132 years. In the first 7 years after their arrival, the French eliminated 1 million Muslims, and in the last 7 years before their departure, they eliminated 1.5 million Muslims. The French historian Jacques Gorky estimated that the total number of Muslims killed in Algeria from France's arrival in 1830 to its departure in 1962 was 10 million.
France occupied Tunisia for 75 years, Algeria for 132 years, Morocco for 44 years, and Mauritania for 60 years.
When France entered Egypt during its famous campaign, French soldiers on horseback entered mosques and raped free women in front of their families. They drank wine in the mosques and turned them into stables for their horses.
It is strange to see some people boasting about and defending French civilization, forgetting all its dark history. This is France; remind them of its history.
🔻 When France entered the city of Aghwat (Laghouat) in Algeria in 1852, it burned two-thirds of its inhabitants to death in just one night.
🔻 France conducted 17 nuclear tests in Algeria between 1960 and 1966, resulting in an unknown number of deaths estimated between 27,000 and 100,000 and the effects persist to this day.
🔻 When France left Algeria in 1962, it left behind 11 million landmines more than the total population of Algeria at the time.
🔻 France occupied Algeria for 132 years. In just the first seven years of their occupation, they massacred one million Muslims, and in the last seven years, they martyred another 1.5 million Muslims.
🔻 France is the fourth largest holder of gold reserves in the world, with 2,436 tons of gold stored at the Bank of France, even though France has no active gold mines.
🔻 In contrast, Mali one of the world's largest gold producers with 14 official gold mines has no gold reserves of its own.
🔻 Similarly, the Republic of Congo, which ranks seventh among gold-producing countries, also has no gold reserves in its central bank.

Reports indicate that the Lang’ata schoolboy who once trended online after shouting “Ruto ni mwizi” during a tear-gas confrontation has died
.
The young man, identified as David Shitanda, is said to have lost his life while fighting alongside Russian forces in the ongoing war in Ukraine. After leaving Kenya around mid-2025, he reportedly travelled to Russia in pursuit of economic opportunities, citing frustration over limited prospects for young people back home.
His mother, Susan Kuloba, is said to have received a final voice note from him before news of his death reached the family. A close family friend later disclosed that officials informed them they may be eligible for compensation amounting to 100,000 US dollars following his reported death in combat.oya @DrAlfredMutua unafanya kwa ofisi hadi sa hii??
