Hey, I don't follow this account for wild religious takes.
At least they weren't eating while he did his skit. #progress

Demand for credentials may fade but connections aren't going anywhere.
It's that wonderful time of year when the first rains start: The rains of political text messages in the week before the election. #pdx
Imagine lying about school on LinkedIn, but wanting to be honest with employers.
"I see here you went to MIT, Cal Tech, and Stanford concurrently?"
"Oh no, I just enjoying lying to LinkedIn, because fuck LinkedIn. I dropped out of community college. Twice."
LinkedIn helpfully notes when there are fellow alumni at potential employers.
Probably feels like a nicer feature for the ivy crowd than the CC set.

This one was weird, Ryan, ngl. I had a hard time following this other than Trillionaire Bad. I mean, ok.
I appreciate that there's data on github, but it's headlines? The presentation doesn't paint a clear picture to me. Also Isaacson == Isaac-Son last time I checked. Grating.

I'm guessing the passenger of this cyber cab would be shitting his pants to see the car inching forward as an oncoming train approachs, like it wants to play chicken with the train.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This Cybercab is an engineering test vehicle and is NOT operating autonomously. The OP says this is in Seattle and Tesla does not operate autonomously there.

$MSFT offers 60,000 employees a voluntary exit.
60K Y’all!!
First time this has ever been offered at Microsoft and it will affect employees in India, The United States, Canada, and the UK at level 70 or below…
Employees find out in a few hours if they are being targeted for this.
This just makes me think that H127 layoffs sound intense. Is this a pre-layoff round?
Also makes me wonder if they changed some scheduled layoffs due to be called out by @VP. Peace offering? 🤔 Timing is just interesting.
More to come.
$MSFT Microsoft's job cuts aren't done, and Xbox is where to watch next.
Asha Sharma is reportedly planning three more rounds: this month, November and January. 1,868 jobs are gone against a 3,200 target, so roughly 1,300 more are coming.
Spreading cuts across a whole year is a choice. It keeps the margin story moving and leaves everyone who's left waiting. I'm watching for the October round.

Apparently the real question is if the arrow is orange or yellow.
