Tom Skerritt, an icon from my more youthful movie-going days, has died at 93.
Never the "leading man" he still had a ton of meaningful movie roles.
I always think of actors in terms of the range of characters they were able to portray.
No. 1 on the list is Philip Seymour Hoffman.

A Ukrainian who worked with the Democrat-tied consulting firm used by Hunter Biden’s Burisma planned to provide evidence of corruption in the Biden family to Congress. Before he could, the U.S. embassy stripped his visa, keeping him out of the U.S. He was later sanctioned for allegedly spreading Russian disinformation.
