I feel like someone signed me up for a simulation of the 1990s era Internet! According to the speed tests i'm running, I'm running a blazingly fast 0.20 MBps ... yes, that's right - I can get faster speeds with my Courier 19.2 baud modem...

ok, I have to be fair - tonight's crew at @comcastcares did walk me thru quite a few very useful debugging steps and we have determined it might be my 20yr old filter/splitter! ordered a new one and will find out tomorrow @comcast take care of your people, they are doing good

wooooo - day 2 of trying to get my @comcast Internet to not be a buggy, ineffective pile of poo - cc/@comcastcares and if another person tells me to restart my home cable modem I'm going to flip quite a few tables

@comcastcares so explain to me how I am supposed to diagnose my cable modem when your app says no outages but my cable modem is offline and the phone menu system won't let me get past the reset modem step BECAUSE MY MODEM IS OFFLINE - seriously?

If you are a developer, you should never know about tracing libraries unless you want to add custom data. Traces should come from the environment automatically as much as possible, and you should have an opportunity to participate into that. Participation requires what's above.
