OSSOFF: If you’re late with your rent, the machinery of late fees and eviction is very efficient. But when you tell your landlord about the black mold in your daughter’s bedroom, nobody comes for four months. And then, when you’ve got to take her to the hospital for her asthma attack, you get a $3,000 bill for the ambulance.
Life was already hard enough before Donald Trump lied us into war, before his tariffs made everything more expensive, and before he doubled your health insurance premiums and slashed Medicaid.
It costs more today than ever before in American history to fill up your truck, to stock your fridge, to power your home, to go to the doctor.
Meanwhile, and you’ve seen it, the president and the first family line their pockets to the tune of billions of dollars.
The time has come to wield the power granted to us by our Constitution and rebuke this obscenity.
I was a McMorrow guy at the outset of the MI primary, and increasingly I can't believe how wrong I was about El-Sayed's strength as a candidate. Particularly over the last month or so, the answers, ads, clips, staff work — everything about the operation has been so impressive.

A group dispatched by Hegseth's team in February attempted to move the historic globe, said to be used by Eisenhower during World War II.
They lifted it from its home in an Army office in the Pentagon ... and dropped it.

Trump says that if Republicans lose in North Carolina he will use the power of his office to deny US Marine Corps veterans’ claims for medical treatment for cancer and other life threatening diseases resulting from decades of water contamination by toxic chemicals at Camp Lejeune
*Everyone* anticipated it — @SenatorCollins was lying then and is lying today; she knowingly killed Roe & will go down in history as a despicable stain on American freedom.

Spare me the pearl-clutching — especially from Republican Members of Congress and online MAGA grifters who have cheered President Trump's weaponization of the government against those he doesn’t like, as recently as last week. This is a subject I know something about: Less than a year ago, Trump directed the DOJ and FBI to investigate me, and then tried to criminally indict me for a 90 second video, exercising basic free speech. The same free speech you’re exercising now, lying about what I said in this clip. If not for an anonymous group of grand jury members standing up for America's laws, I’d be criminally indicted for sedition. President Trump has turned the government against people, with raucous support from you and virtually all D.C. Republicans. So spare us the manufactured outrage.
America must be a place where the rule of law still matters. Those laws should apply to everyone equally. If you have aided in the corrupt use of U.S. taxpayer dollars to benefit the President or his family, or you have violated the law in order to carry out guidance from the President, you should be held accountable. And given how rampant that corruption appears to the average American, people looking to work for his Administration should realize that while the Supreme Court has granted the President immunity, it has not done the same for those who do illegal things at his behest.

Trump: “Remember…your gas prices are lower than when Biden was president.”
They were higher on just 76 of Biden’s 1,460 full days as president. In other words, they were lower during 95% of Biden’s term. And they’re up 39% since Trump’s inauguration: cnn.com/2026/10/13/politics/…

Ahhhh … okay another case where the entire GOP/white nationalist freak-o-sphere goes totally for broke with a campaign of obvious and transparent lies because their degenerate candidate is swirling the bowl and abt to be the first gop to lose a statewide race in like 30 years.
My brother’s excellent op-ed in the @PressHerald today, on stop signs and just about everything that ails America. pressherald.com/2026/10/10/i…

Makig deals with the aggressor, blaming the victim, rewarding the dictator, punishing the democratic leader. This is what American foreign policy has become. Sad.
Yeah, call the fight.

the Vice President of the United States has gone on record citing this man as one of his biggest intellectual influences
if you didn't know this, it's probably because for some reason literally no mainstream political media outlets think it's worth mentioning
Just an insane line of argument from the woman who cast the decisive vote to kill Roe, made a LeBron-to-Miami primetime show of it in the moment, and still to this day says she doesn’t regret it. Being the woman who killed the right to choose is the thing she’s most famous for!
Normally, Dems are the ones to attack Republicans' anti-abortion record
That's not the case in Maine

Very amusing that tech bros do not understand why we hate them. Straight face saying, Look you're going to have to accept that everything is going to change to your detriment and my benefit, your jobs your art, all that is going away, and also maybe you're going to die, but that is a price I am willing to let you pay on my behalf because rest assured that I will be good. This is Altman, Andreessen, Sacks, Musk, Lonsdale, Karp, Zuck, it's all of them. And none of them get it. Boot on your neck asking you, Why are you struggling?
