#OxfordStreet was much safer yesterday than it is today. Despite the street being pedestrianised, cyclists are causing havoc, and I have nearly been run over by one.

Cyclists are continuing to ride along the newly pedestrianised section of Oxford Street, despite being asked to dismount. Around seven security staff have been stationed near Oxford Circus, calling out to cyclists to get off their bikes, with mixed success. The last vehicles are now leaving Oxford Street and the first Deliveroo cyclist has ignored the road closed signs.

if steve jobs saw you reserving 15% screen width for a single icon and then putting a left side arrow back button on the unreachable right side of the screen he would've personally taken you behind a dumpster and beat you with a metal pipe

Pensioner calls out ‘watch me’ as e-bike rider jumps red light at speed directly infront of her at St Thomas’s Hospital in London. One of many people riding bikes, e-bikes, e-scooters & cargo bikes in this manner. This is terrifying, dangerous & illegal.

People who post pictures of their cats on X probably think everyone wants to see their cat. They’re right. I don’t know you. I don’t know your cat. But I love your cat. Keep posting. X needs more cats.

Please watch this …. Who ever did this 10/10 Builders show you can turn up on site with tools on a bike …..
If my builder turned up to a job like this I would slam the door and tell him to go away. Dangerous, not practical and wastes allot of time ….

The flydubai captain wounded in the cockpit attack said the co-pilot asked to pray in the cockpit, something he did not initially consider unusual. About 4-5 minutes later, he said he was suddenly struck repeatedly in the back of the head. His vision became badly blurred, and he then felt the aircraft enter a sharp descent. The captain said he managed at one point to open the cockpit door, but the attacker shut it again. He said people outside were trying to enter using the cockpit access code, but the co-pilot did not grant them access from inside. Lying on the cockpit floor, he recalled hearing the aircraft rushing downward and passengers screaming. Believing he might die, he said he gathered “one last fight,” forced his way back to the door, reached the internal twist handle and opened it, allowing people outside to enter the cockpit and regain control.

Great advice from @AshOrgUK. "If you run a smoking cessation service, your budgets will be cratered because of the vaping products duty that we lobbied for". So much for helping people quit smoking, huh? ash.org.uk/media-centre/news…

I speaks fluent Hebrew so I’ll give you a brief summary: ‘I entered the cockpit, the pilot must have unlocked the cockpit door before he collapsed, we subdued the copilot who was the attacker, while he was trying to destabilize the plane, and dragged him out of the cockpit. The plane was in a dive, I grabbed the controls and pulled up, the plane began to stabilize, another pilot who was a passenger entered the cockpit and took control over the aircraft from me and successfully landed the plane’. * If even half of this is true, this guy deserves a medal. 🏅

Today we are incredibly grateful for the courage and quick action by pilot Cpt. Smit Machchhar who was stabbed by his copilot on FZ1073, yet still managed to open the cockpit door and call for help before collapsing. His heroism in the moment of crisis saved over 170 lives today. Israelis are all wishing him a full recovery and are thankful for his leadership. 🙏🏽 🇮🇱 🤝 🇮🇳
