And how are they better off making $0?
If you can’t pay your employees $15/h you really shouldn’t be doing business Not really much more to say

Yes.
fascism is when you nationalise private companies
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Yes. Fascist economics was corporatist, and viewed private businesses as organs of the state. Private enterprise was permitted so long as it followed the directives of the state. They nationalised and privatised on political whims. fee.org/articles/econo… econlib.org/library/Enc/Fa… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economics…

Here’s the path forward. Stop caving to the isolationists. Kill the tariffs. Finish the job in Iran. Then gracefully pass the torch. I like DeSantis. But to really get under the left’s skin, a woman would be better.
The conservative movement has four potential paths forward: 1. Revert to the eGOP of the Bush family, Thune, etc. 2. Double down on MAGA. 3. Create some new, galvanizing direction (that's what Vance is trying to create with the "New Right"). 4. Go the way of the Whigs and fracture into new/multiple parties. I don't see any other choices. I don't think #3 will work with Vance, but who knows, some other Trumpish figure may emerge who can create his/her own movement that is as effective as MAGA has been. #1 is a non-starter for obvious reasons. Can anyone successfully make #2 happen? That coalition was largely based on Trump's personality, and the only personality I see on the scene that rivals his is Hegseth's, hence my article yesterday. However, if DeSantis can effectively assume the MAGA mantle that might be the ticket as he is untarnished by DC at the moment and can make the case as an outsider. And if #1, #2 and #3 fail, we may be stuck with #4, which result in giving America over to communist jihadists. (And please don't tell me we need to be more "moderate." The Dems ran insanely to the most extreme ends of their lunacy and won.)

Let’s do it.

It is. They’re working to end a war that’s been ongoing for 50 years.
Imagine if the Make America Great Again administration had stuck to its campaign promises of no more foreign wars and DOGE agenda. They wouldn’t have wasted taxpayer’s hard earned dollars, drained our oil reserves, and wouldn’t be demanding $1.5 TRILLION more dollars for war!

Day 792 of still being speechless that a significant portion of the population believes being a billionaire means someone has a billion dollars in their checking account.
Unpopular opinion: i honestly think billionaires should be ilłegal. Anything just over a billion should be taxed 100% and go to public services. NO reason for any single person to have that much money.

Put up or shut up.
Epstein victim Sarah Ransome says she has tapes of Donald Trump doing things that will force him to resign from the presidency. What’s your reaction?

We should care… because? 🦅screeeeeech🦅
Guess what, my American friends. Every other country in the world is now hoping Belgium beat the USA. Thank you president for that. #FIFA

And Jamestown Virginia is over 400. What’s your point?
Окей типа рф «моложе» Америки. А как тогда объяснить огромное количество городов что старше этой ебанутой страны? Одному моему городу больше 350 есчо. И это не какой-нибудь Новгород или что-то такое Как-то странно, не находите?

And how do we treat our own citizens who break the law?
Funny how these ‘patriotic Christians’ never seem to follow this part of the Bible. Leviticus 19:33–34.

Here’s what you didn’t say: 1. You took away our doctors. 2. You took away access in many many small towns across America, 3. You told us it would be affordable but it’s not. 4. You tried to make it look affordable by hiding the costs and passing them on to our children and grandchildren. BECAUSE IT WAS A TROJAN HORSE FOR SOCIALIZED MEDICINE AND NOW YOU WANT TO BLAME OTHERS SO YOU CAN FINALIZE THE PROCESS. And now y’all are trying to do the same to our country with communist congressfolk. May God have mercy on us.
The numbers are in, and they are devastating. 5,000,000 Americans have dropped their Affordable Care Act coverage. Here’s why. Premiums on these plans doubled, on average, from last year to this one. Deductibles hit a record high. And families who were getting by suddenly found a monthly bill they simply could not pay.  So they did the only thing they could. They gave up the coverage they needed. And it did not have to be this way. The reason costs exploded is that Trump and Republicans in Congress let the tax credits that kept these plans affordable expire. We fought to extend them. We warned, for months, exactly what would happen if those credits went away. Republicans pushed their agenda through anyway, in their Big Ugly Bill, and chose tax breaks for billionaires over keeping a working family’s doctor visit within reach. Now look at how they’re trying to spin it. The administration wants you to believe this drop is about fraud. That’s nonsense and they know it. Independent health policy experts have looked at the data and reached the same conclusion. People did not disappear because of some crackdown. They disappeared because they could not afford the bill anymore. When you double someone’s premium, they drop the plan. This is not complicated. It is as cruel and cynical as it gets. And the people who did this are going to answer for it. npr.org/2026/06/26/nx-s1-586…

None. If we glass the whole country.
Those who oppose the deal should consider the realistic alternatives. How many ground troops would regime change actually require? 50,000? 100,000? Where would they deploy? What would the likely American casualties be? Would Israel join in deployments, or would this fall entirely on the U.S.? How long would it take? How many civilian deaths? What happens to oil prices? Would Iran fall into a deadly Civil War and a sectarian mess? How many migrants would the West be forced to absorb? I've asked my friends who seem upset by this deal to answer those questions and they don't seem to have any good answers.

Same thing they did to the guy who tore down the conservatory to build the west wing.
If destruction of government property is a crime, I wonder what they'll do to the man who tore down the East Wing without a permit.

Here’s an additional fact. The NPS had allocated over 300 million to completely replace the leaking basin. Even at double the price, sealing it will be a fraction of the cost.
RE: The Reflecting Pool Let's review a few undeniable, irrefutable facts about this subject: 1. The Reflecting Pool on the National Mall has been a leaking, algae-overgrown mess for years. 2. Having a national monument in such disrepair reflects poorly on our nation. 3. President Trump saw these problems and decided America deserved better for our 250th Birthday, and has been trying to resolve those problems in time for July 4th. 4. Democrats everywhere want the repair efforts to fail. ******************* These are FACTS people, not my opinion. FACTS. So what logical conclusion do all these facts lead to? Simple. ***Democrats would rather see the United States of America fail than see President Donald J. Trump succeed.*** Democrats are not patriots. They do not care about our nation or our national pride. They only care about power, and to achieve power they would destroy our nation if that was what they deemed necessary. It's basically the same ethos that caused them to burn down our cities in 2020 rather than see Trump win a second term. I really do not see how it is possible to coexist with these people unless they change.

Literally everything you just said is wrong.
They painted the pool dark which heated it up quicker in the sun. Then added river water full of algae and it bloomed. It wasn't a democrat it was your low Republican party.

How about they stop taking my money, so I don’t need a safety net?
I will never understand how so many of y'all were hoodwinked into believing the government should not use the money YOU PAY IN TAXES to create a social safety net that benefits YOU.

Loans have to be repaid. Creating a taxable event.
He can borrow against it at low interest rates, giving him income that isn’t taxable.
