Imagine being a physician and thinking just because a food contains carbs, raises blood glucose and stimulates insulin secretion….it must be unhealthy
Potatoes are relatively low in calories, highly satiating and provide fiber, potassium, and other micronutrients
The idea that someone with excess body fat should avoid potatoes simply because they contain starch is nutritional illiteracy
A POTATO IS NOT A HEALTH FOOD
WebMD says potatoes, popcorn, peanut butter and dark chocolate are "treats" that aren't unhealthy.
A 100-gram baked russet potato, skin and all, has 21.4 grams of carbs and only 2.3 grams of fiber. That's starch your body turns directly into blood sugar, which spikes your insulin. It also has just 2.6 grams of protein.
If you've got insulin resistance, pre-diabetes or a big belly, the potato is not your friend. Eat meat and eggs and skip the treats.

STOP LIFTING IN SOCKS ON THE WOODEN PLATFORM 🤦🏿♂️
If you must lift in socks spend the extra money on weight lifting socks that will allow you to grip the platform. Your regular Walmart socks aren't going to cut it!

Hypertrophy is 5-30 reps
I’m dead.
In a vacuum a set close to failure of 20-30 reps works to stimulate growth.
In the real world it doesn’t.
And that is why no one programs 20-30 reps.
It’s way too demanding and nearly impossible to hit consistent PR’s on
So again
If you think 30 reps is as effective as 8 for growth.
You are a retard

People will walk 4,000 steps per day. Stay up binging Netflix every night. Spend 97% of their time indoors. Rarely exercise. Eat mostly processed, fake food. And proceed to wonder why they feel like shit mentally & physically. It’s not rocket science. Fix your habits.

Ab crunch machine is goated 🐐
Currently hitting 3x a week with 3 sets a session to bring up the abs.
Focus on progressively getting stronger with good form in that 8-15 rep range.
Just like any other muscle.
No high rep, short rest, superset bollocks just because it’s abs.
