Imagine being a physician and thinking just because a food contains carbs, raises blood glucose and stimulates insulin secretion….it must be unhealthy Potatoes are relatively low in calories, highly satiating and provide fiber, potassium, and other micronutrients The idea that someone with excess body fat should avoid potatoes simply because they contain starch is nutritional illiteracy
A POTATO IS NOT A HEALTH FOOD WebMD says potatoes, popcorn, peanut butter and dark chocolate are "treats" that aren't unhealthy. A 100-gram baked russet potato, skin and all, has 21.4 grams of carbs and only 2.3 grams of fiber. That's starch your body turns directly into blood sugar, which spikes your insulin. It also has just 2.6 grams of protein. If you've got insulin resistance, pre-diabetes or a big belly, the potato is not your friend. Eat meat and eggs and skip the treats. Source below...

This is interesting. Any actor that says he went from normal skinny dude to JACKED within a year for a movie role without PEDS is full of shit.
Coach Greg says Michael B Jordan & Henry Cavill both use steroids for their movies ‘What’s this guy name he’s that creed guy the fighter, so he is using steroid to look like this and so to look like this you will also need steroids, now what percentage could do this naturally one in a thousand guys could probably achieve this look natural’ ‘I think I had probably a good build than this when I was naturally but I also had great genetics i trained my life for, when you say I’ve put on 20 pounds of muscle in 4-6 months it’s like what do you mean especially if you put 5 pounds a year’ ‘This are some of the best physique in the world in the movie entertainment like you gotta imagine this guy is famous not just because of his acting skills but because of his physique, all the people that would want to be in his shoes there are all actors so to compare to the top ten actor physique and get this in a year with testosterone’

STOP LIFTING IN SOCKS ON THE WOODEN PLATFORM 🤦🏿‍♂️ If you must lift in socks spend the extra money on weight lifting socks that will allow you to grip the platform. Your regular Walmart socks aren't going to cut it!

Free weights build your balance or whatever. How much balance do you really need? Unless you’re an NFL running back, do yourself a favor and stick to machines.

This is bad advice. If you push through a day of inadequate sleep the fatigue will just carry over to the next day
Wake up early in the morning tired as fuck & still go outperform people who slept in & feel rested

"And that is why no one programs 20-30 reps. It’s way too demanding and nearly impossible to hit consistent PR’s on" You're right Greg, it's way too demanding... for a pussy. That's 40 reps for you...

Seeing a lot of low rep vs high rep discourse. Putting aside all the data which CLEARLY shows that low reps is better for hypertrophy WHO in their right mind WANTS to do 30 reps per set. There’s no way that’s enjoyable or sustainable. I do HOWEVER personally prefer the 8-12 rep range as opposed to the 4-12. Whenever I load up to go 4-6 I feel like it does more damage to my joints and I accumulate more fatigue quicker

Hypertrophy is 5-30 reps I’m dead. In a vacuum a set close to failure of 20-30 reps works to stimulate growth. In the real world it doesn’t. And that is why no one programs 20-30 reps. It’s way too demanding and nearly impossible to hit consistent PR’s on So again If you think 30 reps is as effective as 8 for growth. You are a retard

Agree with this. But you have to accept your strength will at least plateau. Too many dumb people out there claiming you can still get stronger. Possibly at the beginning of the cut but definitely not by the end
I never got weaker on a cut because I never accepted dieting had to make me weak. The average guy drops calories, expects low energy and trains like it. Unless u’re digging towards bodybuilding stage lean, ur body has enough energy. Plus ur strength potential can be maxxed out.

Hitting protein goal is super easy. .75 grams per lb of bodyweight. Not sure why people are bending over backwards to consume more protein than is necessary. Complete waste of calorie allocation.
Hitting protein every single day is an endless torture. How do gym goers even do this for years without losing their mind? Does anyone actually have a real hack for this or do you just skip some days?

But all my favorite youtubers say I need to SHOCK the muscles every month! 🤣
I regret to inform you that the best gym program is repeating the same 10-12 exercises and getting stronger at them until you die.

One of the BIGGEST mistakes beginners make in the gym is not tracking every set and keeping a log. I personally like using the strength trainer feature on whoop but there are plenty of apps to use or a simple notebook. You can’t track progressive overload if you’re simply guessing all the time
