2025/26 Stadium Club Chrome UEFA Deep Dive
Well, this escalated quickly.
Stadium Club Chrome is back after a few years in exile. And apparently, people have lost their damn minds.
In rare fashion for a soccer product, Hobby boxes of Stadium Club Chrome have already nearly doubled in price less than 24 hrs into its life cycle.
Whether it's market manipulation by Big Bully resellers (who am I kidding...it's always market manipulation by Big Bully resellers) or the public's hunger for an actual Stadium Club Chrome product at long last, it's not often we see soccer products take off.
But here's the question...is it warranted? After digging through the odds, my answer may surprise you.
Welcome to 2025/26 Stadium Club Chrome UEFA.
Part 1: The Basics
Boxes officially released earlier today, November 4th at a price of $250/Hobby & $30/Value.
If you struck out like I did at launch, current market price of Hobby boxes is rising quickly. Big Bully resellers are asking roughly $500/box, but currently can still be found fairly easily on ebay in the $400 range.
There is a third format called Members Only, which is simply a branded Breaker's Delight SKU. I've only seen this in stock on one site at a price of $1300/box, which is mind-numbingly absurd.
Box configurations are:
Hobby- 20 packs of 6 cards
Value- 7 packs of 4 cards
Members Only- 1 pack of 12 cards
Part 2: Production Numbers
Total cards in product:
13,256,528
Total production by format:
Hobby- 60,122 boxes (5,010 cases)
Value- 209,240 boxes (5,231 cases)
Members Only- 15,264 boxes (2,544 cases)
Here's how that compares to some other recent soccer releases:
2025/26 Topps Chrome UEFA- 27,741,961
2026 Topps Chrome Premier League- 19,392,290
2025/26 Stadium Club Chrome- 13,256,528
2024/25 Topps Chrome Merlin UEFA- 11,372,968
2025 Topps Chrome MLS- 6,828,016
2025/26 Merlin Premier League- 6,599,296
2026 Topps Chrome MLS- 6,138,240

Part 4: Value Map
Based on current market pricing of $500/Hobby box and Retail price of $30/Value box. I'm not including Members Only as I don't know if and when or where it will be reasonably attainable for purchase. At $1300, it shouldn't even be in the conversation. At something like $600, it would deserve attention. But I suspect that's improbable.
$/Card:
1) Value- $1.07
2) Hobby- $4.17
$/Parallel:
1) Value- $5.46
2) Hobby- $62.03
$/Auto:
1) Value- $300.00
2) Hobby- $500.00
$/# Card:
1) Value- $30.00
2) Hobby- $120.48
$/# Auto:
1) Hobby- $683.15
2) Value- $719.25
$/Rare Insert:
1) Value- $2,387.70
2) Hobby- $5,880.00
$/Quality Hit:
Includes all Parallels & Inserts with a Print Run of 76 or less, all Case Hit or rarer Inserts, and all Autos /100 or less.
1) Value- $258.90
2) Hobby- $346.50
This doesn't seem like a fair fight. Let's move the goalposts a little for Value boxes since I've already seen them selling for over MSRP.
At $45/Value Box, the "$ Per" metrics look like this:
$/card- $1.61
$/Parallel- $8.20
$/Auto- $450.00
$/# Card- $45.00
$/# Auto- $1,078.88
$/Rare Insert- $3,581.55
$/Quality Hit- $388.35
I mean, are these overall numbers still better than hobby? Is that even possible?
Part 5: Best Value Format
At drop pricing of $250/Hobby, it's debatable as to which format offers the best value. Hobby would offer the most cost effective way to hit Autos, Numbered Autos, and Quality Hits. Value Boxes would be best for Parallels, Numbered Cards in general, and Rare Inserts.
However, that's at drop pricing.
If you struck out like the rest of the world and are now looking at market pricing in order to rip, the only metric in which Hobby excels is Numbered Autos. Value Boxes win in every single other category.
I'll just warn you now, you're issue is going to be finding them. Yes, Value Boxes. Trust me, I've been trying. You may be able to snag a couple here, couple there. But finding in bulk at retail price is an issue.
I'm trying to understand this world where even freaking Blaster boxes are hard to come by at retail price. It's just weird, bro.
Part 6: Experiment Time
I just wanted to put a number on this Hobby vs Value thing. And since I know finding bulk blasters is going to be tricky, I'm going to be realistic. Let's act like your options are Hobby at market price, or Value boxes at market price.
1 case of Value Boxes ($45 ea) x 40 = $1800
Expected Hits:
Autos- 4 (1-2 numbered)
Parallels- 220 (including 140 base Raywaves, 40 base Refractors, 40 numbered)
Rare Insert chances- 50%
It's worth noting, there are only 100 cards in this base set. So you might just have a complete set of Raywaves by the time you finish ripping a case of blasters.
4 Hobby Boxes ($450 ea) = $1800
Expected Hits:
Autos- 4 (~3 numbered)
Parallels- 32 (including 16 base Refractors, 16-17 numbered)
Rare Insert chances- 33.3%
This is kinda wild. The only metric where Hobby beats Value is numbered autos. And this is on a level playing field. During my research, I actually saw boxes for sale online and attainable for these prices or even less.
In many products, this discrepancy wouldn't hold a lot of weight due to all the big hits being pullable from Hobby, and none from Value Boxes. So who cares if Value Boxes produce tons more low-value color?
But I don't think this is one of those products.
First, regarding the parallels, true colors are mutual to both formats. However, Hobby & Value each have their own exclusive parallel rainbows.
For Value Boxes, that is Mini Diamonds- starting with Magenta /399 and all the way down to Red Mini Diamond /5. Unfortunately, the two highest numbered (Magenta /399 & Teal /299) are both higher than anything numbered you'll find out of Hobby. I don't love it, but it's probably expected when Values offer 1 numbered parallel per box.
The exclusive Hobby box parallels are fascinating...and something I haven't seen before: Electric Charge. Reminiscent of the Lava Lamps in Chrome Update baseball, the Electric Charges combine adjacent colored parallels with unique numbering that looks like this:
Aqua/Blue Electric Charge- /175
Blue/Green Electric- /140
Black/White Electric- /125
Green/Purple Electric- /80
Purple/Gold Electric- /65
Gold/Orange Electric- /30
Orange/Black Electric- /12
Black/Red Electric- /8
Red/Gold Electric- /3
These are definitely cool, and there's an exclusive Photographer's Proof with a print run of ~25 in Hobby, but I wouldn't call Value boxes a huge downgrade from a parallel perspective. However, the concentration of lower numbered stuff is definitely slightly better in Hobby.
From an Insert perspective, the only desirable insert exclusive to Hobby is The Grail...and there are only ~34 of those in the entire product. Non-factor.
As for Autos & Relics, there are a few in Hobby that aren't possible in Values- Classic Kits Autos, and the extremely elusive Stadium Seat Relics/Relic Autos.
But by and large, nearly everything desirable in Hobby is also pullable from Value Boxes. When it's not, as in the exclusive parallels, there is a suitable, similar Retail alternative.
Part 7: What Would the Squatch Do?
Not that it's any secret at this point. I just spent an hour demonstrating how Value Boxes are the better format. When kept sealed, even they will increase in value...but nothing like Hobby boxes. They might blow right past $500 as they dry up.
Since my writing is pretty persuasive even on myself, I already have a case of Values reserved with my guy. So if you don't see me whining about Topps stuff for a while, I'm probably holed up degenning a case of Blasters.
I am fully aware the "$ Per" metrics aren't going to blow your socks off. Based on my favorite Quality Hit metric, these boxes don't have any right being that great. But it's Stadium Club Chrome, man. It's got AURA.
You'll rarely hear me say this, but this one is more than just metrics. The numbers just don't tell the whole story. The people need SC Chrome. And so does the Squatch. I sincerely hope it finds its way back to baseball.
Listen, I am an unapologetic Stadium Club Chrome junkie. The baseball versions from 2020-2022 were some of my favorite products of all time. The photography is always phenomenal. If it takes buying soccer to get more, then sign me up.
I may not know half the names on the checklist, but I know a decent product when I see one, metrics be damned. I came for the Stadium Club Chrome. I guess I'm staying for the soccer.

Back in 2014, there was a man who was already aware of the irregularities involving Manchester City. That man now runs FIFA. The infamous Gianni Infantino, then UEFA General Secretary, abused his authority, shared confidential documents and, in short, outmanoeuvred the Investigatory Chamber, doing everything in his power to ensure that both Manchester City and PSG would merely receive a fine, avoiding a deeper investigation that could have led to a Champions League ban. All of these details were also revealed through Football Leaks.
Given his actions as UEFA General Secretary and, more recently, as FIFA President, I can only say, in my humble opinion, that Gianni Infantino has become a cancer on football and should have no place in the future of the game.

To be fair, if you’d told me the last time Arsenal won the league that by the time they win another one Chelsea will have won 5 leagues, 5 Fa Cups, 2 club world cups and 6 European trophies 2 of which were Champions Leagues, I would’ve probably taken it.

Just talked to a guy that bought an auto shop from a retiring boomer 9 months ago that was doing $1.7M in revenue and it’s on pace to do $2.5M in revenue this year.
Me, “That’s awesome. Everyone always says prepare for revenue to go down first year of owning. What was your secret to first year growth?”
Him, “It’s a 10 bay shop and they were only using 8 bays. I bought a couple lifts and hired another tech and we are now using all 10.”

Here is a question. You think Cora didn’t want Bregman back even though Bregman loved it here? You think it was Cora who didn’t believe him that he had another offer from the Cubs? You think it was Cora who cheaped out? You think it was Cora who wants Durbin as his 3rd baseman over one of the best leaders in baseball? (Cubs 2nd best record in baseball by the way). This team is a joke but it’s been a joke for a long time and it all starts with John Henry. He won’t pay for anybody. Breslow sucks. Henry sucks. #selltheteam
