Eiji Aonuma final message before the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake: "When we decided to fully remake The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the 40th anniversary of the series, I knew that I didn’t want it to be simply a polished-up version of an old game. As I saw how the game was coming together, I realized that the development team had reexamined the original from their own perspectives. The result surprised me in the best possible way.
