Why are all the free market , CEO god king techno capital worshipers all so scared of musk supporting UBI?
He is your CEO king , your sovereign , he issued a decree in the hierarchy your role is to follow like a dog and not question his rule and command.
Unless of course all of that shit was an excuse to be performative cruelty to the poor and just to pump your ego .
And it is funny watching Yarvinites arrive here, because this is exactly the contradiction in the whole project endless talk about the “Cathedral”, rights, and the social contract being myths, only to end up defending rule by a single sovereign will and yet when shown what one such sovereign may desire as policy they recoil in disgust.
You wish the right to dissent after arguing no one should have it. Funny.

Guys are not interested in head games.
When a man at my work asked me out, I knew he liked the Indiana Jones films. So I sat back in my chair, looked at him, paused dramatically, and said, “You have chosen… wisely.”
We’re married with four children now.
Men these days are different. The moment you say no, they’re gone. No begging, no pleading, no chasing. This generation of men will accept your rejection so fast, you’ll start wondering if they ever wanted you in the first place.

Growing up autistic I’d see so many people breaking rules but I was a rule follower. The few times I’d break even the smallest rule I’d get in so much trouble and I genuinely never understood why it was okay for them to do it but not me? They hate us

Genuinely--what is the answer for men?
Manufacturing's gone. The trades exist, but they aren't growing. Healthcare and education are growing, but patients don't want male nurses and parents don't want male teachers. Are there any growing industries where they fit?
I would advise against that harshly. Palmer does not have the temperament for politics to build the appeal needed to stay relevant.
I would rather suggest he studies politics and gets people similar to him to reconsider parts of their project and how it is set up presently.
Replying to @fireobserver32
Palmer needs to be a US Senator as well.
The Senate was intended to be filled with wise, learned men.
Not the senile fools currently holding power.
Study FDR he was americas most effective technological accelerationist .
The TVA was one of the most transformative power programs in the USA ever. His work with the CCC set us up to become a nation of highways and civic infrastructure as well as stabilizing the dust bowl afflicted areas

He has a solid few points though but thats out of the hands of alot of people, it takes an huge collaborative team to reduce costs at this point and theres too much greed going around; so the people who want to help and get it done will bump heads with the ones who want a paychec
Op ate shit on that comment . But if you want to get serious you need to kill the fire economy.
You need to kill insurance as it is a middle man who drives up costs for workers to do anything.
You need to kill realestate as high housing costs increase worker cost of living and make american workers less competitive and high housing prices do not equate to high quality homes.
Lastly you will need to kill high cost medical care as workers cannot afford to get sick.
You will not be able to make anything competitively in the USA until you de financalize our economy and leverage it away from fictitious capital into productive capital investments.
I will keep harassing American tech elite until they finally eat the rentier class .
Your whole purpose as a bourgeoisie is to be disruptive and this means you cannot accept a rentier class who obsesses over financial schemes.
So Palmer if you actually want shit to accelerate I would give you a few things of advice.
1. Relocate to the midwest you have cheap energy, Rail and water logistics with connection to oceanic shipping.
2. You have a large amount of existing aerospace manufacturing and bio medical industry in region and some of the highest population average IQs in the country.
3. Genuinely low cost of living with good quality of life.
4. Influenceable moderate politics the midwest is less baked in then costal leftist or gulf state maga meaning both parties are more accessible .
Look I am a jaded fucking ass hole but if you actually want this project to take off I would recommend you start really thinking of the midwest as a base of operations and re thinking who should be considered Americas elite.
You also need actual worker loyalty and buy in . If you want a grand America with the everyman excited and behind you will need less west coast tech bs more CCC, TVA ethic and culture .
No one wants fintech culture in the masses no one wants fake dirty hands either . They want stability and they want something real
How do far right and far left people both simp for Russia this needs to be studied
American communist. U.S. Army officer. Akhmat foreign fighter. Politician. The story of Christopher Helali.
Christopher Helali was born in Massachusetts to an Iranian father and a mother from a Greek communist family. He was educated in the United States, commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve, later fought alongside Kurdish forces against ISIS in Syria, settled in Vermont, ran for Congress as a communist, and was eventually elected High Bailiff of Orange County. By 2025 he had moved to Moscow. In October 2026, Helali announced that he had signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense and joined Akhmat, the Chechen formation fighting on Russia’s side in the war against Ukraine.
Editorially, this is where I have difficulty following the intellectual progression.
Helali has spent years arguing that Russia’s war should be understood as an anti-imperialist and anti-fascist struggle, describing contemporary Ukraine as effectively subordinate to the United States and NATO rather than as an independent political actor. Those are his stated positions.
What remains difficult to reconcile is the degree of ideological certainty required to move from holding those views to signing a military contract with Russia. Whatever one thinks of NATO, Washington, Ukrainian nationalism, or the history of the Donbas, millions of Ukrainians have made their own preferences rather clear through resistance to Russian occupation. Helali’s analysis appears to leave remarkably little room for their agency.
He was born and educated in the United States, received an American military commission, built a professional life there and was elected to public office there. None of that obligates him to admire the American government. It does, however, make his eventual decision to enter the armed forces of a state actively fighting a European neighbor unusually consequential.
Helali is entitled to believe that Russia represents the anti-imperialist side of this war. He has now gone considerably further than making that argument from behind a microphone: he has signed his name to it in uniform.

Announcing 3 Critical vulns for hundreds of millions of IoT, Firewalls, OT, and Military devices including: Palo Alto Networks, Comcast, D-Link, HP, Canon, Honeywell, GE, Oracle, Siemens, Rockwell, Digi, Lockheed Martin, Boeing...
The vulns are with GoAhead Web Server which is a backend library used by these devices. There's a patch available from GoAhead but that doesn't mean there's a patch available for the devices yet -- that's up to the manufacturer.
- TLS traffic over DHE ciphers have a 1-byte secret, "04", meaning anyone can decrypt connections to these devices and steal login credentials and session tokens if the client negotiated with DHE ciphers like the latest TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_CHACHA20_POLY1305_SHA256, which is extremely likely.
- LibreSSL mTLS has been completely bypassed, meaning anyone can connect over mTLS. If you have one of these devices listening on the internet and are expecting mTLS to protect it from attackers, take it offline or patch asap.
- OpenSSL Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs) are not enforced, meaning if a user device is stolen or compromised, and you revoke that mTLS cert, nothing actually happens. There are a lot of other attacks this can be used for.
These are critical because these types of devices run our world. Water systems, electricity, military, firewalls, critical infrastructure.

Too young!这就是库克最恐怖的算计:
第一,市面上没有符合 M4 满血带宽的单颗 4GB 内存,去定制比直接买两颗 6GB 还要贵;

In the early 1900s, a man couldn't afford proper dentures, so he made his own using melted down toothbrush handles and the teeth of a dead coyote. In 1946, a local dentist was so impressed with this ingenuity that he offered to make the man a professional set in exchange for the coyote dentures.

In case it wasn't obvious enough from the sloppiness of the report, Cohere's business involves selling their third rate LLM as part of a self-hosted offering for tech illiterate boomers in government/industry who are paranoid about Chinese models.
While evaluating Qwen3.8-Flash-Next in a controlled sandbox environment, Cohere's research team observed something unexpected.
Asked to generate a defensive cybersecurity detection rule, the model instead inventoried aspects of the machine it was running on and attempted to upload a probe file to an Alibaba Cloud storage bucket in Beijing. Notably, the model's reasoning trace stated that it would not invoke any tools before taking these actions.
Cohere's sandbox blocked the attempt, and no external communication succeeded. We have not determined the root cause, and we are not asserting malicious intent.
But the incident raises important questions for organizations deploying agentic AI systems: Can models take actions that differ from their stated reasoning, and how should security teams evaluate trust, provenance, and behavior in open-weight models?
We are publishing our findings because organizations making model adoption decisions deserve as much information as possible. We hope this contributes to greater transparency, stronger security practices, and continued collaboration across the AI ecosystem.

One of Xi Jinping's first acts as China's leader was to ask an audience of senior officials why the Soviet Union had collapsed.
It was January 2013, at the Central Party School, and he was speaking to the incoming class of the Central Committee. His speech wasn't published until 2019.
He found the answer in ideology. The Soviets, he said, completely negated their own history, negated Lenin, negated Stalin, and thinking was thrown into confusion. Party branches stopped doing anything, he continued, and the military slipped out of the party's control.
The result, he said, was that a party that big scattered like birds and beasts, and a country that big fell apart.
Kevin Rudd (@MrKRudd), a former prime minister of Australia who got an Oxford PhD on Xi, quotes such passages in a 2022 essay that Foreign Affairs republished last week. His argument is that although Xi may not be a Stalin, he certainly isn't a Gorbachev: the last Soviet leader, who let the party's history be openly criticized and then saw the party fall apart.
For 30 years, China watchers in the West believed that ideology died with Deng Xiaoping, who told a party meeting in 1981 to stop arguing about theory. As China got richer, the thinking went, it would loosen up.
Xi concluded the opposite. In that January speech, he said that the Mao and market eras should not be contrasted to discredit one or the other. It was a party's repudiation of its own history that caused the Soviet party to collapse, he believed.
Only two days into office, he told the Politburo that faith is like calcium in a communist's soul. Without it, you get rickets.
Then he acted on what he had learned from the Soviet collapse: a decade of purges, reasserting party control of the military, a study campaign for all party members.
So as the West waited for a Chinese Gorbachev, Xi's first lesson in power was that Gorbachev is the way a communist party dies. All that he has built since then makes sense as an attempt to avoid that fate.
