Important note on Israeli elections: The votes of serving soldiers will not be counted and published in full until nearer towards the end of the week. In the 2022 election, approximately 463,000 double envelopes were received, representing nearly 10% of votes cast.

One of the most difficult things for me about living with heart failure is the impact on my ability to read “full length” novels due to exhaustion/leading to concentration lapses After my total failure with audio books *we* are trying short stories Lucky to have great support

I will add here: I remain positive and accept the little wins are really huge steps and I am learning to embrace the “new Tim” who according to one of the consultants is so stubborn it is amusing

On the basis of the exit polls in Israel being right, the only thing certain is that this isn’t going to be sorted quickly My advice is ignore those who claim it will be
When I hear people say “turn out is huge and that favours X” I think back to the 2004 US election when people (including me) were sure the high turnout favoured John Kerry One friend campaigning in Florida bucked the trend and said “I’m worried . Big turnout but feels strange”

🧵In the Budget one of the govt's risks comes from the 'squeezed middle' who feel they're working hard, but don't get any support. Labour leads with the most comfortable at one end & those who can only just/cant afford costs at other. But Reform still leads with the middle group

Labour manifesto, 2024. Couldn't have been clearer.
