He was a singular talent, a generous collaborator, and a true gentleman. Who remembers? Two years ago, Lt Eugeniusz Niedzielski (who is now 103 years old), the last surviving member of General Stanisław Maczek’s 1st Polish Armoured Division, started a match at the Rat Verlegh Stadion.
Every year at the match, the fans of NAC Breda (Breda Locos) create a tifo with the word "Dzięki" (“Thank you”), formed from the names of all the Polish soldiers who lost their lives in and around Breda during the battle.
What a moving tribute to the Polish soldiers who liberated the city on 29 October 1944.

The London Metal Exchange (LME), owned by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) since 2012, is exploring the tokenization of off-warrant metal inventories stored in its Hong Kong warehouses. The aim is to turn this metal into digital assets that can be used for financing: primarily as collateral for loans.
Key points:
⭕️ Off-warrant metal (inventory without LME warehouse warrants/title documents) currently lacks a standardized financing mechanism. On-warrant metal can already be traded or pledged easily.
⭕️ Tokenization would create trackable digital claims on the physical metal, making it more bankable as collateral and potentially increasing liquidity.
⭕️ The LME says it is at the early stages of exploring this for business financing and will consult stakeholders. An invitation-only industry roundtable is planned for early November 2026.
🔶Policy context:
The move is tied to Hong Kong’s first five-year economic blueprint (published September 2026), which seeks to position the city as a commodities trading and financing hub by attracting investors, traders, and financiers. This aligns with China’s 15th Five-Year Plan (March 2026), which for the first time explicitly backs developing Hong Kong into a commodity trading powerhouse. Hong Kong plans to leverage its status as an approved LME delivery point (approved January 2025).

A caseworker told Hilton they were ordered to ignore obviously fake IDs and get the kids out the door as fast as possible.
Their directive was “Speed over safety.” If something happens to the kids, so be it.
One girl was put on a plane, handed off to three strange men, and forced to work 20 hours a day.

The kids were given a hotline to call if they were in danger. The problem was getting anyone to answer.
HILTON: “There were 65,000 unanswered calls to the hotline.”
And the people who flagged it? “FIRED.”

When Bobby Kennedy Jr. previously described what happened to these kids, he called it a “huge, huge tragedy.”
KENNEDY: “One guy pretended to be the parent of 42 children. We have no idea what happened to those kids.”
“There was about 60 kids who were sent to one address. When we looked at that address, it was a container, a steel container in the middle of a parking lot.”
“A lot of them were sent to work at slaughterhouses and picking fruits in the fields. They were slaves.”

And now Xavier Becerra, the man who presided over all of it, wants to be governor of California.
