He lost his dad to cancer. Then the grief came out sideways. Fists, outbursts, a kid the school couldn't reach. They called Diego Ranch. We said yes. He met Ace and River. Horses don't do small talk. They don't ask how you're feeling. They just stand there, steady as stone, and wait for you to be honest. And he was. Not with words but with his body, his breath, the way his shoulders finally dropped. The anger that had nowhere to go found a place to land. The kid who was shutting everyone out started showing up. This is why we do what we do. Not because it's easy. Because a boy who lost his dad deserves more than a diagnosis and a detention slip. He deserves a chance to heal and sometimes the best therapist is a horse, no agenda, and the patience of a mountain. This could be your child. The one sitting in the back of the classroom, the one the teachers are starting to give up on, the one you worry about. Every kid like him deserves a shot at healing and every dollar you give goes to a place accomplishing just that. CLICK HERE givesendgo.com/diegoranch?ut…

Leaving the military was supposed to be the easy part. Turns out it was the hardest fight of all. The nightmares that wouldn’t quit, flashbacks that dropped me right back in the shit, and this voice in my head that kept saying it’d be better if I just checked out for good. My counselor at the VA wouldn’t let it go. She kept pushing me to try the equine therapy program out at Diego Ranch. I figured it was a long shot, but I was drowning, so I went.. First time I met Ranger, he just stood there, rock solid. No pressure, no bullshit. Felt like he could see right through me, like he knew what I'd been through. I started talking to him out in the field, stuff I'd never told my wife, never told my buddies, never told nobody. When it got too heavy and I choked up, he'd nudge me with his nose, like "I'm here, keep going." Then Ace came into the picture. Feisty, wouldn't take no for an answer. That horse dragged me out of my head every damn time. I'd be brushing him, smelling the hay and leather, and for those few minutes the war would go quiet. Those horses didn't give a damn about my medals or my scars, they just met me where I was. Ranger taught me how to sit with the pain without it eating me alive. Ace reminded me I could still feel something besides numb. One afternoon I was standing between both of them, their heads resting against my chest, and it hit me hard, I wanted to live. Not just survive, but actually live. They just stood with a broken soldier until I remembered how to stand on my own two feet again. President Trump has afforded me the great honor to serve in his administration as the "Special Envoy for American Landowners." In this role, I look forward to representing and advocating for landowners’ rights against any entity that chooses to harass or intimidate them in an effort to achieve goals contrary to those of the President. I look forward to defending our farmers and ranchers🇺🇸

So proud of Lakeland residents for showing up to oppose their data center. 🙌
50 people attended, 20 spoke.
A few days later, Lakeland City Commissioner Guy Lalonde Jr said,
“Lakeland should consider a one year moratorium on new large scale and hyper scale data centers”

Geoengineering startup, Sunscreen, offers localized heat reduction. This is the third for profit geoengineering company and I predict that number will increase exponentially. Repost this to help spread the word. X is ghosting this post.
LA-based startup Sunscreen, founded in 2025 by Stanford grad student Solomon Kim, sells localized heat-wave weather modifying cooling by deploying materials via robotic systems to block or reflect sunlight in targeted spots, dropping local temperatures by up to 13°F during peak heat hours.
* Uses proprietary atmospheric models to decide exact timing and placement.
* Robotic systems release or apply non-toxic, water-free, biodegradable particles/materials that reduce incoming solar radiation.
* Effects are temporary and localized
* Aims to turn extreme heat-stress events into "normal summer days" for a few critical hours.
Deployed over:
* High-value crops (vineyards, nut orchards, specialty produce)
* Data centers (to cut cooling energy use)
* Livestock, military bases, urban heat islands, and critical infrastructure
The company completed an Early Stage VC round in July 2025. Investors include Cyan Ventures, Dangerous Ventures, and Sovereign's Capital. Sunscreen Energy has not publicly disclosed its total funding amount as 6/5/26.

I hate the spotlight. The stage is a scary place. I just want a quiet life. But this cause is worth it. Lucy is worth it.
This is not just about Lucy. What has happened to me and Lucy will happen again.
It will repeat, over and over. In Kalamazoo, Michigan. In Walla Walla, Washington. In Schenectady, New York. To Joe and Buddy. To Mike and Sadie. To Jane and Teddy.
It will happen to them, but nobody will know. They will love their dogs no less than I love Lucy, but nobody will hear their story. It will not steal the spotlight the way Lucy's story has.
They will cry out for justice, but it will be in vain. Few will listen. Few, but the Lord above will.
God put Lucy and me in the spotlight to be their voice. To advocate for Joe, Mike, and Jane. To advocate for Buddy, Sadie, and Teddy. To push for change.
Lord, let me live up to the responsibility you have placed on my shoulders.
This crap needs to never happen again. Never, never, never, never, never.

We were invited to speak to a school of 1,400 students about ranching, food, and nutrition, and what we found there gave us real hope. America is waking up. These young people—many of whom had never met a rancher or understood where their food actually comes from—listened with wide-eyed attention as we talked about soil health, animal welfare, nutrient-dense beef, and the hard work it takes to raise real food on working land. Their questions were sharp, curious, and refreshingly free of the usual slogans. You could feel a shift happening in the room: a generation beginning to question the processed, packaged version of “food” they’ve been sold, and instead hungering for truth, transparency, and connection to the land that sustains us. If that school is any indication, the future of American agriculture and nutrition isn’t just bright—it’s being reclaimed, one thoughtful conversation at a time.

Florida Bay. The threshold between the Everglades and the Keys.
Paddle with me through mangrove channels where crocodiles bask, wading birds patrol the shallows, and American flamingos have quietly returned to the Everglades.
Wild Florida at its finest.

When I decided to ignore background noise of experts and consultants, things began to fall in place on my farm. I stopped trying to "fix" Nature, and I started working to understand how Her cycles function. I realized I could never take dominion over Her- I shifted and sought to work with Her.
In all of our efforts to outwit and improve Her, humans are an unworthy opponents- to Her, we are nothing but a fart in a hurricane.

Pops and Geist on our first walk on the property.
Hes got a lil coat (he will grow out of it in 5 minutes) hes just a baby and not acclimated to this weather, so we have to keep him warm and keep walks very short (5-10 min).
He got carried for most of this one.
What do you think about his posing? Hes already getting the hang of it i think :)

Its the Christmas season. Lotsa good puppers out there that could use help. If you are able, in honor of our moosedog, you can donate to a local shelter in his name ❤ Oldham County Humane Society reached out to me to let me know that folks had been donating in Garms name, their info is below. Thank you all so much. This means so much to us.
Some folks have asked about donating for Garms care and if we have a gofund me or similar set up. While we appreciate your generosity so very much and the ❤ you have shown my boy, if you would like to do something in his name, we would LOVE to help out a no kill shelter here in Kentucky this holiday season. So many animals don't have a home like Garm to care for them, maybe in his name we can brighten their day just a little bit. Thank you all again so very much ❤ humanesocietyoldhamcounty.co…
