His answer: ‘We BANNED Homeless Encampments’
Texas passed a law banning homeless tent cities and will withhold funding from any city that fails to comply.
The state overrides local governments — Texas is a rule of law state that won’t allow their cities to fall into third world conditions like California.

For nearly 3 years, almost every order has been packed by my wife, my dad, or myself. Today that changes...
I hired our first full time employee.
One of the hardest decisions I have had to make since starting this company.
My mind is wired to run bootstrapped. Stay as lean as possible for as long as possible and then reinvest everything back into the business to fund the growth.
Do we really need a full timer or can we just continue to manage it how we have been doing it?? That's what I was always wrestling with in my mind.
But after 3 years, I know it's the right time for me to delegate some of these things that take up so much of my time so I can focus on partnerships, wholesale accounts, marketing, and things that can continue to grow our business.
Leyton started coming into help out exactly a year ago. He was still in high school. I found him through the local high school and knew he played golf.
He started making boxes and prepping toddler golf bags. He worked about 4 hours per week.
Last April, I put together a job description as I was starting to look for my first full time hire. I was going to send it to a contact that I had in the business program at the University of Northern Iowa to see if I could find any good candidates.
Leyton was at our shop when I got the job description finished. I showed it to him but I didn't ask if he was interested. I knew he had some other plans. But in my mind, I was hoping he would show some interest.
The next day, I got a message from him that he wanted to talk about the position.
He had some commitments over the summer so he asked if we could work around that. It was a no brainer. I hired him on the spot and have been patiently waiting for this day to come for about 4 months.
Now we have somebody who will run our operations - order fulfillment, embroidery, prep work, inventory, etc.
Excited to have somebody in the shop with me. It got very lonely in here!
Today is a major milestone for Charlie Golf Co. Can't wait to see where we can take this thing! 📈

At his Iowa City town hall in September, Rob Sand accused Iowa's religious schools of using school voucher funds to buy alcohol.
Meanwhile, Iowa City Public Schools has overspent its capital projects fund by $45 million over the last four fiscal years.
All public schools in Iowa are legally required to perform an yearly audit and report it to Rob Sand's office.
Rob was just too busy attacking school choice parents to stop Iowa City schools from misallocating our tax dollars.

The other day I was wearing my World Cup USA hat. Some liberal at a bar says, “You must be conservative.” I asked why, she says, “your hat.” it was a USA hat from the World Cup, not a MAGA hat or anything like that. A World Cup hat that said USA.
The reality is that liberals hate the United States of America. And they really don’t like anybody who loves this country. And it won’t be long now before the American flag, the symbol itself, is labeled hateful by the radical left.
If you love this country, you have to fight for it, November 3rd might be your last chance to do that.
