It’s even worse than Anish notes here because boys make up 61% of the top SAT scores. So despite that fact and the fact that men apply about 2x as often to MIT; @MIT admits more women every year than men. It’s impossible for this to be merit based. Just mathematically impossible.
17,000 men apply to MIT 8900 women apply to MIT 600 men were accepted 612 women were accepted If we assume male and female applicants to MIT are roughly the same, the probability this happens by chance, let alone every year for a while The probability of a sex blind admission process creating this result is 1 in 4 × 10³¹

It's election season, which means its election sermon time at our church. Pastors, what are you preaching to help your people trust the sovereign Christ and take action to pray, vote, and stand for righteousness?

This is the big one. I published this investigative piece about @IlhanMN's marriage on July 18, 2019 at Scott Johnson's Powerline. If you can't make time for all the others, please just read this one. It took a great amount of work, and I don't think I can do any better. powerlineblog.com/archives/2…

I also published this piece about @IlhanMN in 2018. I reported that Ahmed Elmi had come from the UK to the US for a year of high school. Of all the high schools in the US, Ahmed happened to attend one close to her father's house -- where I was told Ahmed had lived that year. I also reported that Ilhan had been deleting many social media posts since my first piece ran. The link is below. Please read.

Excellent piece by @greg_scott explaining how pastors have abdicated their responsibility to shepherd their flock by choosing to stay silent on political issues

The man in blue offering his… assistance filling out the ballot is former Jubbaland Finance Minister Hussein Hirsi Ahmed. He was an MP in Somalia from 2021-2023 and runs multiple money transfer businesses in Lewiston. Coincidentally, he and all the other “translators” met with Democratic gubernatorial candidate Hannah Pingree just days before early voting started. This is a foreign op: Get Democrats elected to protect the pipeline that sends welfare dollars straight back to Somalia.

Yes, pastors SHOULD tell people who to vote for. Whoever invented the rule that they can’t is wrong. If a congregant tells a pastor that his “conscience” is telling him to vote for a shameless blasphemer like James Talarico, the pastor needs to correct that congregant and tell him that it is not his “conscience” speaking, rather it is the devil’s whisper. An Open Letter from a Microsoft H1B PERM Desk to the Americans Who Cheered Dear Americans, You can stop clapping. We saw the press conference. Let me explain it slowly so your fentanyl addicted, inbred, small minds can comprehend what is happening, because you thought you had a win. Last week the Labor Department froze PERM for Microsoft, Adobe, Cognizant, Infosys, Tata, Wipro, HCL, and Capgemini. No new filings. No pending filings. Your vice president stood up and said no company abused the system more than Microsoft. He cited about 6,000 American jobs cut last year against about 6,300 H-1B approvals and nearly 3,000 green cards. The company answered that 80 percent of those visas were extensions for people already inside. Read that again slowly. Already inside. That was the point. Microsoft isn't letting go of their superior and affordable labor. You should recognize the fact that Microsoft had no intention of allowing temporary labor to stay temporary so Americans would be considered. Let that sink in. You think this is a victory. It is just a delay. We did not lose the jobs. We just lost a form we fill out temporarily. The H-1B is still valid. The desk is still ours. The code is still ours. What you took was the stamp that turns a temporary seat into a permanent one for a brief time out. Annoying. Not fatal. Green cards were already backed up, what's another few months. And now the company is offering buyouts to 60,000 people. Roughly a quarter of the workforce. Voluntary exit packages in the US, Canada, India, and the UK for anyone at level 70 and below in the right divisions. Xbox, Windows, Copilot, finance. They leave by the end of the year if they take it. Bloomberg and the company both confirmed the scale. That is not a freeze. That is a cleanout. The seats that stay open will still need bodies. Guess who is already sitting in them. Then this week a whistleblower dropped screenshots. An engineer based in India got approval through the escort process to view U.S. government cloud logs on GCC-Moderate. The ticket shows the request resolved. Microsoft’s own rules say government cloud staff need U.S. citizenship screening for elevated access, but the support description also says there is no general assurance about an agent’s location or citizenship. The screenshots do not prove a breach. They do prove the request went through. You can call it a process. We call it access. We know you cannot close these tickets without our talent. You wanted a decent wage. You wanted a house, a school district, a weekend. We took the req at the number finance approved. When your people trained us and then landed on the layoff list, that was not cruelty. It was a different kind of competition around wages. That was a market set by a trillion dollar company making massive profits off the country they refuse to hire from. A market you refused to qualify for. If an American graduate cannot beat a sponsored job on price, the American graduate is the problem. You need to suck it up and learn how to eat ramen, sleep several to a room, and fake your credentials if you expect to compete with us. We already have assurances they are making room for more of us. There are videos of a Director making this clear. Your VP is either complicit and gaslighting or feckless with a bark and no bite. That is why we are better than you. Enjoy the small steps. A fee. A frozen filing. A speech. A buyout offer. A whistleblower screenshot. None of it rewrites the org chart. The next election puts the other party back in the chair. We own the lobbyists, we own your politicians who have bills with no vote. They do not share your panic. They will open the cap, reopen PERM, and call it talent. The flood does not need a new law. It needs the old one enforced the old way. It is the backlog you just paused until a single election brings us back. Infinity H1B is one election away and all we need is for your disgust with the system to keep you home so we can finish the job at a pay you refuse to take. We will still be here in November, not a single H1B has to go home when this is all over. All of us will be employed. You can have the press release. We kept the job. A senior H1B engineer whose green card is now a pending file (Screwtape letter style)
