Our heartfelt condolences go out to the families who have lost loved ones, and we wish a swift and full recovery to all those injured.
Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and all those affected by this senseless act of violence.
The people of Israel stand in solidarity with the people of Poland. 🇮🇱🇵🇱

Deeply saddened by the horrific news from Komyshuvakha, Ukraine, where 40 people were killed in a Russian attack. Among the civilian sites struck was a school serving as a humanitarian aid distribution centre. Many people are still missing.
We condemn this attack and extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of those killed. We wish the wounded a swift and full recovery.

We received the horrible news of the tragic passing of Klára Schneiderová with deep sorrow.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, her loved ones, and the entire Czech diplomatic community.
Klára was a dedicated senior diplomat and a true friend to Israel.
May her memory be a blessing.

A Nazi celebration in Oslo.
Today in Oslo, the auction house "Valkyrie Historical Auctions" is expected to hold an auction of a fragment of a Torah scroll that was looted by German SS soldiers during the Holocaust.
It is a parchment sheet from a Torah scroll that was desecrated, looted and defaced by the SS, and was even used as wrapping paper by SS soldiers.
At the same time, the Norwegian government is expected to cancel its financial support for visits by Norwegian students to extermination camps.
Auctions of sacred texts looted by the Nazis: IN.
Visits to extermination camps: OUT.
Israel expects the Norwegian government to put an immediate stop to this moral obscenity.

I strongly condemn the severe acts of violence by Israeli rioters in the area of Taybeh.
A police investigation has been opened, and forensic investigators from the Judea and Samaria District are already at the scene collecting evidence.
The Foreign Ministry is in contact with the ambassadors of the countries concerned in order to assist the law enforcement authorities, who are working to identify the attackers and bring them to justice.
Without detracting from the severity of the incident, it is unfortunate that the visit was not coordinated with the IDF in advance. Such coordination could have helped safeguard the visitors’ security.

Bravo to the Mayor of Alkmaar. A handful of Israeli fans were barred from the Hapoel Be'er Sheva match today under the guise of "security risks," yet a mob waving signs (in Hebrew) reading "Go Hamas" was allowed right in.
Hamas is a designated terrorist organization in the Netherlands - the same group responsible for the October 7 atrocities against civilians, the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust.
Something is deeply broken in the Netherlands.

Two years after Israelis were hunted through the streets of Amsterdam, the Dutch answer is to ban the victims, not the attackers.
Alkmaar’s exclusion of Hapoel Be’er Sheva fans rewards those who threaten and incite violence and runs counter to the very spirit of sport.
This exclusion of Israelis comes amid a wave of antisemitic attacks in the Netherlands, fuelled by anti-Israel incitement from Dutch politicians and public figures.
Banning Israeli fans from attending the match, like boycotting Eurovision, is yet another stain on the Netherlands, as the country increasingly becomes one of the world’s leading hotspots for antisemitism.

Deeply disappointing to see @magdandersson use the 3rd commemoration of the #Oct7 atrocities- the biggest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust - for political attacks against Israel.
Of all days, today should focus entirely on expressing solidarity, honoring the victims and unequivocally condemning terror against Israel.

The Brits have lost it. The Jew hate of their government knows no boundaries and knows no facts.
The British Foreign Secretary @Ed_Miliband posts a video recounting “stories” he was told about Gaza.
If the Foreign Secretary were interested in facts rather than stories, he would know that there are no restrictions whatsoever on the entry of medicines into the Gaza Strip, and that no medicines are being blocked; that 22,500 tons of medical supplies have entered Gaza since the ceasefire began; and that Gazans exit the Strip for medical treatment, including 200 who did so in just the last two weeks.
And of course, the British Foreign Secretary is well aware of all this, as the UK is a member of the International Gaza Support Center, which facilitates the delivery of medical aid to the Gaza Strip.
But apparently, facts matter less (when making a video for a political audience).

Dear Mayor Mohamed,
A few facts about Hapoel Be’er Sheva, whose participation you decided to prohibit :
⚽ Hapoel Be’er Sheva is an example of coexistence in Israeli football.
⚽ The team includes three Arab-Israeli players : Muhammad Abu Rumi, Mohammed Kna’an and Zahi Ahmed.
⚽ Politics should never be allowed to interfere with sports.
Israeli players should be judged by their professional abilities, not by politics or political views.
Sport should remain sport, free from political agendas.
Since we both believe in dialogue and coexistence, Israel’s Ambassador-designate, @DavidSaranga, would be pleased to meet with you after presenting his credentials to the King.
PS : We love the title of your book.

Your loss is my gain @avraham_nir - looking forward to having @JonRosenzweig join the team in Jerusalem.
And you’re lucky enough to have a fantastic new deputy with @Tal_MFA so I’m not too worried for the @IsraelinEU team.
🇮🇱 🇪🇺 Time to say goodbye to my fantastic deputy, Jonathan.
When I first arrived here, I couldn't have hoped for a better deputy. Jonathan has been an exceptional professional, an incredible person, and a true partner through all the challenging days we’ve navigated together.
Thank you, Jonathan!
At the same time, I want to wish the best of luck to Tal. After doing an outstanding job representing us at our delegation to NATO, she is now stepping into her new role as my new deputy.
I couldn’t have asked for a better successor to step into Jonathan’s shoes. I am glad it’s you Tal!
Wishing you both huge success in your new roles.

UNRWA has no place in the new Gaza. We are turning the page on the complex of perpetual aid dependency & conflict. The people of Gaza deserve better.
UN Member States have a choice: Fund incitement, terrorism, and stagnation with pledges to UNRWA.
Or fund the Board of Peace, giving Gazans a path to peace and prosperity. History will not forget. @AmbUNReform

If these reports are true, comparing Israel to apartheid South Africa is not only factually wrong, but also completely unacceptable for someone speaking on behalf of the EU.
At a time when Member States are questioning the direction and size of the EEAS, such remarks further undermine trust in Europe’s foreign policy apparatus.

Madam,
With all due respect, even in your remarks here you refrain from denying or condemning what has been attributed to you and published publicly. That speaks for itself.
To the best of my knowledge, the statements attributed to you regarding “apartheid” do not reflect the position of the European Union.
The matter is simple: if you did indeed make these vile and defamatory statements, stand behind them.
If you did not make them, deny it.
Until this matter is cleared up, my decision will remain unchanged.
Dear Gideon, as you know, the EU and Israel have a lot that binds us. I value our dialogue and engagement, and I’m open to continue in that spirit, respectfully and constructively. Dialogue is the foundation of diplomacy, especially when differences arise. The EU is always committed to a constructive relationship with Israel.
To bring peace to the Middle East, the Two-State Solution remains the only viable path. The EU has condemned the illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank that make it increasingly difficult to get to that goal. That is the EU position.
Was an honor to speak to the DIL at the European Parliament today.

It’s deeply troubling that, on Italy’s WWII Liberation Day, Jewish participants in Milan were targeted and excluded by violent extremists.
Israel strongly condemns these antisemitic attacks. The Jewish Brigade played a vital role in liberating Italy from nazism and fascism.
We welcome the political leaders who have spoken out in condemnation of these antisemitic and anti-patriotic incidents. Such a shameful exclusion of the Jewish community must never be allowed to happen again.
