Corrupt prem strikes again 🤣🤣👍 fuck football 😴😴😴😴
🚨 Jamie Carragher on Jayden Bogle’s challenge on Mathys Tel during Leeds against Tottenham:
🗣️ Jamie Carragher: “I watched that challenge on Tel, and I’m telling you, that was nasty. Really nasty.
Tel has the ball, he knows Bogle is coming, and he tries to shift his body and move the ball away from him.
Then Bogle catches him right on the Achilles, just above the boot.
You can see Tel immediately knows something is wrong.
He goes down in pain, he’s seriously injured and eventually has to leave the pitch.
So I’m sitting there thinking, what exactly are the referee and VAR looking at?
They replay it over ten times.
They slow it down.
They pause it.
They show it from different angles.
And somehow they still come to the conclusion, ‘You know what? There’s no foul.’
That is an absolute joke.
I don’t care how many times you replay it. Look at the contact.
Look at where Bogle catches him.
Look at Tel’s reaction.
You can see the pain on his face immediately.
He’s trying to get away from the challenge and gets caught directly on the Achilles.
Then he has to leave the pitch injured.
And somehow we’re being told it isn’t serious enough?
Seriously?
What more do you need to see before you decide something is serious?
The lad is injured and has gone off.
He’s not pretending.
He’s not rolling around trying to waste time.
He tried to continue and couldn’t.
Maybe we’re waiting until a player dies on the pitch before somebody finally says, ‘Actually, that was dangerous.’
Because apparently a player getting caught on the Achilles, going down in obvious pain and leaving the game injured still isn’t enough.
That is where football has lost its way.
The inconsistency is absolutely abnormal.
One week, you see a similar challenge and everyone screams for a red card.
The next week, a player gets caught like that and the officials basically shrug their shoulders.
How does that make sense?
And don’t tell me they didn’t see it.
They replayed it again and again.
They had every opportunity to look at the contact properly.
They chose not to punish it.
John Brooks and the VAR team looked at that and decided no serious foul had been committed.
I find that incredible.
Because if that isn’t serious, what exactly are we waiting for?
Are we waiting for Tel to be carried off before we decide it was dangerous?
Oh, wait — he already went off injured.
So what more evidence do we need?
Footballers have to be protected.
You cannot allow challenges like that and then act surprised when players get seriously hurt.
For me, that was a shocking decision.
Not a borderline decision.
Not a difficult one.
A shocking one.
And somebody needs to explain why a player can be caught on the Achilles, leave the pitch injured, and still have the officials decide there was nothing serious about it.
Because if this is the standard now, we are asking players to accept dangerous challenges until somebody gets seriously hurt.
And I don’t want to hear excuses afterwards.
The officials had the footage.
They had the time.
They had the angles.
They had everything they needed to make the right decision.
They simply didn’t make it.
And that is what makes it so frustrating.”
Surly this is bollocks. If this is true then close up shop now on the prem 🤣🤣🤣🤣
🚨💣 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: AUDIO LOG has been released for MacAllister & Madueke’s altercation 😳
🗣️ Referee: “Take a look at that please, both players heads together”
🗣️ VAR Assistant: “Not much contact, we recommend a yellow card for both players”
🗣️ Referee: “Noni has already been booked”
🗣️ VAR Assistant: “Book Timber instead, and a yellow for MacAllister.
This is quite poor from the referee.

Maybe every footballer should read this , not just Arsenal players. Well said 👏👏👏
🚨Ronan Coughlan on his altercation with Max Dowman before his red card during Fleetwood’s victory against Arsenal:
🗣️ Ronan Coughlan: “I get sick when I see young players with so much pride and arrogance, but so little respect for the game.
“We are Fleetwood, so what? We play in League Two, so what? It’s football, and we are here to compete too. Our league position doesn’t make us any less of a football club.
“I saw him kick out at Neal, and it wasn’t a good one. I went over to check if Neal was okay, only for Max to lash out and say,
‘This is exactly why you are in League Two and we are Premier League champions.’
“I got angry and told him to shut up. Before I knew it, everyone had gathered around us, and the whole thing turned into a massive confrontation.
“I accept responsibility for my reaction, and maybe I should have handled it better. But don’t ever think playing for Arsenal gives you the right to look down on us.
“These lads work hard, sacrifice a lot and deserve respect just like everybody else. We might not have the money, facilities or superstar names, but we have pride.
“And the funniest thing is that they came here as Premier League champions, expecting to beat a League Two side, yet we are the ones celebrating tonight.
“Max needs to understand something: your badge might make you famous, but it doesn’t make you better than everybody else. Football has a way of humbling you.”

I've always said if Arsenal went bust and ceased to exist, I'd lose something as a Spurs fan. Because local rivalry and the derby matters.
But if Chelsea went bust and ceased to exist, meh. Like, sure, shame for their fans. But meh.
HANG IT IN THR FUCKING LOUVRE
🚨 Maxence Lacroix:
“Everyone was speaking about this game when I signed for Chelsea. They say, "Okay, Tottenham will be a tough game." I say that we are Chelsea, and normally you have to win against Tottenham, and this is what we do, what we will do.” [#CFC vs Spurs Programme]

Matheus Fernandes at 6 was a good choice from De Zerbi. Sure, he would enjoy playing higher up creating & dribbling as an 8 but he’s their most intelligent midfielder from a positional point of view, so using him as a 6 for now makes sense. Spurs were very compact defensively.

🚨 GOAL! JAMES BREE! #saintsfc nitter.gq/GenniferDescha1/status…
This is why you need 10 games before judging this manager and team. Loads of new faces need time to gel and it looks like it’s happening.
We are still not at our full potential yet, just need the attackers to score more chances and this team will act like a big club again. COYS
