Bam has been very good player and citizen and franchise ambassador, but the better response last night would have been: "I'm not playing well enough and I need to play better."

Four of the Heat’s top 8 have been way below expectations:
Klay
Bam
THJ
Wiggins
Larsson played closer to expectations tonight. But Mitchell and Portis have been the only relative bright spots.

Davion Mtichell on how he can help Bam get going:
"I have to do a better job of not letting him get lost in the game, but he also has to be intentional. He gotta be more aggressive. Him and Giannis play in the same spaces so when Giannis is on the floor with him, he can't be in those same spaces."

Spo on Bam's struggles:
"He just needs to see the ball go in. He had some good clean looks. Just wasn't able to capitalize on them. But I know, I know his, his makeup, man. His resiliency. We'll work together to find a way to get him aggressive in his spots where he's, where he's comfortable."

Heat becomes NBA's 1st 0-4 team. Simply cannot win with this little production from Bam, Wiggins, Klay, Hardaway.... 0-3 Bucks trying to avoid matching Heat. They've surged ahead of Pacers behind big nights from Herro and Ware.

Spo: "Yeah, it's disappointing for sure. You know this, this is not the the start anybody wanted, but it's happened. So we have to address what's in front of us and we need to continue to get more consistent with our game.
And defense was better for certain parts of the game. Gave up a big three and then a drive to flag there at the end. Our offense, we need to get back to playing with a vertical space but then also the half-court pace and putting it all together.
You know, and we'll get there. But yeah, I can see and feel like how much our guys want to play well and it's not happening. So we have to just manage that and show the fortitude just to continue, you know, to grind until we get a breakthrough."

THIS IS WHAT GIANNIS AND BAM NEED TO DO.
Stop overthinking it and just attack the paint.
Their chemistry looked great on this play.

I genuinely haven’t seen this much hate for the Miami Heat since they got called “bubble guppies” by everyone in May 2021.
It’s funny how majority of the people weren’t calling us contenders but yet treat every Heat loss like we’re the 2017 Warriors.
They’re also clowning Giannis going to the Heat but would’ve clowned the Heat for missing out on him.
You just gotta laugh at this point.

Are they playing well right now? Absolutely not.
Nobody is arguing that. They have plenty to figure out.
But the Miami Heat have people taking victory laps over their preseason predictions before the first Sunday of the season.
All I am saying is don’t let them get hot.

Interesting enough, that team eliminated Miami in the playoffs
Simmons
Redick
Covington
Saric
Embiid
That team eventually won 52 games and earned themselves the 3rd seed in the east

This stat suggests I should panic. But I’m not — I’m just frustrated.
They look unprepared & not connected.
As happy as I would be after a 3-0 start w/ a bunch of blowouts, I can’t get myself to panic at the inverse.
There will be peaks/valleys. Let’s hope things change soon.

Only 11 teams in NBA history have started 0-3 with a point differential of minus-45 or worse and made the playoffs.
The last one was the 2017-18 Philadelphia 76ers.
The Heat are now 0-3 with a minus-49 point differential.
The Miami Heat's minus-42 point differential through two games is their worst to begin a season in franchise history, per @Stathead.
