There is a level of consciousness that enables you to know things without logical reasoning. Direct knowing. It is never wrong. Never. It bypasses rational thought process and allows you to tap into your intuitive intelligence.

It’s really a testament to what is possible today vs just a few years ago.

Apple customers have gotten used to pinch-zooming on big Apple screens for over 15 years
Now a lot of those customers want an Apple laptop that lets them pinch-zoom
Don't overthink it

The powerful thing about meditation is not that it makes you any better or wiser.
Meditation doesn't really change anything about you, it just reveals your true nature in the depths of your own silence.
To remember who you really are underneath all these names, masks and identities reveals unmatched joy.
Instead of collecting more and more thoughts and ideas with your mind you just let them all go.
In one powerful breath you let them fly away, and with them all your attachments.
This is why the ancients where pointing towards meditation when they were speaking about liberation.
They knew that freedom could only be found by focusing inwards.

There's also a small new sample drop!

Has enough time passed for people to admit that the Apple Vision Pro was (is) actually the most innovative and original thing Apple has tried in recent years? And they actually need to continue down this path to push our tech tree forward given the advent of AI and world models?

the iPhone Duo isn’t a better iPhone, it’s a fundamentally different iPhone

Day 2 and the iPhone Duo’s already past 82k folds 😅
Hit 75k yesterday and this Fold-a-Phone machine is still smashing it open and closed 900 times an hour.
Hinge holding up so far… let’s see if it can beat the Z Fold 8.

iPhone Duo, some random thoughts on Day 1:
- Passport-shaped phones make a lot of sense. I love the compact form factor of the closed phone, and it seems to me we’ve prioritized tall-and-skinny phones too much.
- I can’t find the volume buttons, ever.
- The joy of opening the phone is so satisfying. But it also feels like a commitment to use the phone for awhile— I’m finding myself using the outer display far more.
- Using the inner display vertically is far better for apps, but Apple didn’t really optimize the UI for it.
- TouchID sucks. It can’t read my finger half the time. I don’t understand the “hold to open” versus press to unlock, this adjustment has been rough.
- I have yet to see an app optimized for Duo that sucks. They’re really, really good.
Duo has been an absolute joy to use for the first day, and it has certainly piqued my curiosity in a way few pieces of tech have!

iPhone Duo crash test. Insane 🤯
I’m impressed. And less worried about damaging my Duo now.

I’m honestly getting tired of all these “your iPhone Duo screen is going to break” comments.
The whole situation feels blown way out of proportion. Maybe 30-50 reported cases out of potentially hundreds of thousands sold.
I watched a brutal durability test yesterday, with water, coke, sand, and bending backwards with sand cracking inside, and Duo survived it all. Most owners seem to have no issues so far.
Can we stop acting like every Duo is about to break?
