🚩 Dr. Christine Stabell Benn Shares the Alarming Results of Her New Study Showing COVID mRNA Vaccines Can Negatively Affect the Innate Immune System for Months
"In the follow-up period we saw that there was a 3x higher risk of having a lower respiratory tract infection, meaning a bronchitis, pneumonia, in the children who were randomized to mRNA vaccines vs those who were randomized to placebo and that was statistically significant...It does suggest that the mRNA vaccines behave like the non-live vaccines and at least for a period after vaccination increase the recipient's risk of other infections...So basically the mRNA vaccine for a period of up to 6 months, that's as far that it has been studied, make the innate immune system lazier. It doesn't respond as vigorously when it's stimulated with other pathogens."

Looking forward to hear it live mid November from @RomagnaniLab in #Dresden at the #iSTIIIMDD2024 #RegistrationOpen #JoinUs #Trainedimmunity #InnateImmuneMemory @CRTDpress

@RomagnaniLab just amazed us with her insights in NK clonal innate memory! Such an impressive science, energy and communication skills! Thanks to @cibss for sponsoring this talk!

Does your mother's vaccination status matter for you?
We know that mothers can transfer specific immunity to their offspring - but it seems they may also transfer non-specific benefits. See the new paper by @FSBuchholzer
In Guinea-Bissau 🇬🇼, we found that being born to a mother that has a BCG scar is associated with lower mortality risk, especially for males.
In a new paper, we tested this hypothesis in a large cohort of 17275 newborns, confirming a male survival benefit.

BCG? No. It is a live attenuated vaccine. More about those here: ted.com/talks/christine_stab…

Amazing how much happened in the field of "trained immunity" since Netea described it in 2011. The discovery that the innate immune system can be trained is key in explaining why vaccines have non-specific effects #NSEvac. I look forward to the 6th symposium on trained immunity.
