Not a single traffic signal in this stretch between Hebbal flyover and Mekiri circle 😭 Don't know which junction they want to avoid by this
Political parties listen when in opposition but stop listening once in power. Nobody asked for this flyover. People wanted better airport connectivity via Budigere & Hennur at a lower cost and faster execution of Metro & suburban rail and PRR projects. Instead, govt is pursuing projects people never demanded.

Bengaluru: For 18 months from Nov 6, 2026, goods vehicles of all categories, including light, medium and heavy vehicles & KSRTC and private buses will be barred from Ballari Road due to BDA's construction of a four-lane elevated corridor between UAS Staff Quarters and Mehkri Circle. Airport-bound vehicles can take Nagawara-Tannery Road or BEL Circle-Ring Road, while city-bound vehicles can use Nagawara-Bamboo Bazaar-Queens Road or Hebbal Ring Road-Goraguntepalya-Dr Rajkumar Road. @blrcitytraffic

And why not wait till Diwali
Just thinking about this is giving me the jitters! Travelling through Hebbal, to & from Bengaluru airport could get very tedious over the next 18 months as BDA begins work on a four-lane elevated corridor. Total ban on heavy vehicles, alternative route options listed below 👇🏼

And there is not even one traffic signal between Hebbal and Mekiri circle The pile up was because of the reduced road width before Mekiri and traffic piling up in rampup side They could make free left in rampup on Mekiri by extending the road.

My four picks to break into the top 20 and stay there consistently: Tanvi Sharma, Anmol, Unnati and Rakshita. In that order! I am a huge believer in Tanvi. Technically rock solid, lovely court sense and a very exciting player! Having played Anmol recently, I was genuinely surprised. Lovely stroke production, good deception, but her footwork, recovery and consistency need work. She needs to be more coachable, which I think has been a big problem. But from whatever little I’ve read and seen, she’s making those amends! Unnati needs a few technical corrections, while Rakshita needs to win those mental battles. And watch out for Tanvi Patri! Once she develops physically and adds strength to her game, HUGE ceiling! My hunch? We’ll have two Indian girls in singles at LA 2028 for the first time since Rio 2016. Indian women’s badminton is in a very exciting place! ❤️🇮🇳
#KoreaOpen2026 That's a nice three-game win for Tanvi Sharma, to recover from a poor second game and bounce back to take the decider is a good exercise for the youngster against a solid player like Manami Suizu. Really liked how she played in the decider. 🎥 BWF

Work on long-delayed Bengaluru Business Corridor (PRR-1) is set to begin, with 8km of the 21.5km Package 1 stretch cleared for construction. Preparations are also underway to invite tenders for Package 2, even as land acquisition challenges persist. – at Bengaluru, India

But more private sector manufacturing needed. We can't be launching one train at a time. This whole Vande series of trains could unlock a huge export market for our country @AshwiniVaishnaw @narendramodi step up pls BEML/ICF can get royalty but let more pvt companies build
More Bullet trains, more VBs, More semi HSR, will reduce the need for donestic flights significantly. Energy efficient, import reduction

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗶–𝗔𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟳. 𝗡𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀?? Sorry but this is a stupid question. I don't think people realise how difficult it is to execute something for the very first time. And more importantly, how much faster things can move once you have done it once. Take example of Delhi Metro. Announced in 1994, construction started in 1998, only 8 km line done by 2002. Next 3 years, 57 km added. Next 4 years, 125km added. India added 248km operational metro in 16 yrs till 2014. But in next 11 yrs, we added 847km. That's what experience, institutional capability and an established ecosystem can do. Now let's see Bullet train project. India's first bullet train corridor is 508 km long(China first one was only 120km and that too on a flat terrain). Yes, it is taking time. But the scale of the project is also vastly different. It involves India's FIRST UNDERSEA TUNNEL and engineering challenges we've never encountered before. Plus we had following issues - 1. Congress in Maharashtra stopped all work of bullet train from 2019-2022. 3 yrs gone in that. 2. China stopped TBM(needed for undersea tunnel) export to us for 2 years. We have to then make our own from scratch. Building the first corridor is the hardest part. You acquire the technology, develop the ecosystem, train the workforce and create domestic manufacturing capabilities. The next projects then benefit from all of that experience and goes super fast(like our metro). Hence, before judging India's first bullet train project, people should actually study a bit on what we are trying to achieve. #HowIndiaGrows
The Mumbai–Ahmedabad Bullet Train was announced in 2017. Nearly a decade later, it is still under construction. At this rate, Bengaluru–Chennai and Bengaluru–Hyderabad might become reality sometime in 2040. Big infrastructure announcements make great headlines. But what we really need are clear, realistic deadlines, accountability and execution. Announce the vision, but also commit to a timeline.

So bullet train is getting attraction again so let's make it clear. First we are developing two different trains for bullet train tracks- B28(280kmph max)-by 2027 B35(350kmph max)-by 2030 Then we will also procure some japanese rolling stocks but they will come later. First run will be done by indian made trains only.

Assam's first ✅ North East's first ✅ India's first ✅ I am extremely proud to share that Assam has signed the MoU to set up India's first Proton Beam Therapy centre in the public health sector at a cost of ₹600 cr. Until now, proton beam therapy, one of the world's most advanced cancer treatments, has been available only in private hospitals in India, at costs of up to ₹50 lakh. Assam seeks to change that today. This advanced technology attacks tumours with pinpoint precision while sparing healthy tissues. For suitable patients, particularly children, that can make a significant difference. With 17 cancer hospitals rising across the state, 12 of them being functional, a community level constant outreach programme and consistent investments in human capital and infrastructure, our ambition is clear: Assam will be a global centre for cancer care. @TheAshokSinghal @gmchgauhati
