what kind of animals do they expect in the press box to necessitate that last line
This is so dumb because all of these people will leak her texts and emails now, making her look even worse. And rightfully so!

Did the DCCC plan this
NEW: President Trump is planning to deliver remarks Monday afternoon at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in D.C., a source familiar with the plans tells me. @NewsNation
The President is expected to provide an update on D.C. and projects in the capital, along with a closing message ahead of the midterms touting the administration’s accomplishments, per source.

I know @HaleyforMI way better than most people on X. She and I came into Congress together in 2018. She was co-Prez of our freshman class. She was incredibly kind to me when my late partner died; she organized a big group of our class to come to the House floor to support me when I spoke about his suicide. We were roommates in 2023, after my wonderful first roomie lost her election; both my adult kids know Haley well and are on a texting basis with her. We’ve socialized and we have good friends in common. While she and I differ on one impt issue, specifically Israel and AIPAC support, I’ve never publicly challenged her on those things, because I felt that her good points outweighed the issues I disagreed with her on. Today, that changes. 👇
Haley’s endorsement of Rogers in the MI senate race is appalling. Not because he’s a Republican, but because what he stands for is what she, and I, and our caucus has fought so hard against. Rogers is a 100% anti-choice politician. He is a Trump loyalist. He’s shown his Islamophobia in his many remarks against @AbdulElSayed, and with this endorsement, Haley has shown that she agrees with his positions. I’m shocked by Haley’s endorsement. I’m terribly sad and disappointed. I’m furious and will be more so if we lose the MI senate race. So many people in the Democratic Party have shown so much support to Haley over the years, and she has betrayed them all. If this is because of her new relationship (about which many of us were so happy for her after she lost the primary), all I can say is that any woman who abandons her friends when a new guy comes along is no friend at all. The fallout for Haley won’t just be in Dem politics; she will be a pariah among her friends in the Democratic caucus in Congress. Only she will be able to decide whether it was worth it.

Haley Stevens can vote for whoever she wants, but her unhinged last couple of days means her whole primary campaign was a lie. In July, she called @MikeRogersForMI a:
- "carpetbagger millionaire"
- "a super-rich Florida man"
- "a fake"
- And that Trump is "who he answers to".

"Who we are as Michiganders is not hate"
Donald Trump said Abdul El-Sayed, an American citizen, is a jihadist terrorist who should leave the country.
He said that Jewish Americans and Black Americans are mentally unwell if they support Abdul and deserve to be shamed.
She's voting for Mike Rogers, who hasn't just refused to condemn Trump, but has also agreed Abdul is a terrorist, and could give Trump unchecked power for the next two years.
This person stands for absolutely nothing but herself.

In addition to being politically stupid, Democrats like Stevens and her ardent establishment supporters have been failing a profound moral test as well.
Ben Rhodes on Islamophobia and Haley Stevens:
I would like to see Democrats forcefully condemn this absolute garbage, because it's wrong, and because they're trying to other Abdul El-Sayed.
I see some Democrats kind of going along with this. Whether you agree with Abdul and his positions on Israel or not, the idea that the hate is coming from Abdul and not the people calling him a terrorist is ridiculous.
The idea that we have Democrats like Haley Stevens demanding he condemn some online ad that you can't even really find, and she's not condemning the hate that is coming at Abdul—It tells you a lot about Haley Stevens and what her priorities are, and it's not electing a Democratic United States Senate.

I'm sure that the people who get sent to torture prisons in El Salvador or get shot in the face by ICE or get killed in the war with Iran will understand that @HaleyforMI's hurt feelings were more important.

Three months ago, when Haley barely lost a hard-fought primary and then immediately endorsed @AbdulElSayed, she had an incredibly bright future in Michigan politics, whether Abdul won or lost.
Instead, she's decided to light it all on fire in the final hours of the campaign.
Replying to @samueljrob
Stevens says she’s for investing in Black owned businesses. “And that’s the policy that Mike’s going to take on,” Stevens says.
Fuck you, Haley. Seriously. Great work @SenSchumer and @gillibrandny!!

Hi Rep Gottheimer. I’m Jewish. My relatives were killed in the Holocaust. Please don’t be an idiot.
This isn’t about Haley Stevens. It’s about the basic question she raised: Why won’t El-Sayed just condemn the Jew-hating ad?
News flash: You can be for lower costs and stand up to hate at the same time.
