Shoutout @jesseTDBN for this find . Crypto payments are getting faster 👀 @MetalBlockchain is testing BTCVM, LTCVM, and DogecoinVM, bringing Bitcoin, Litecoin, and DOGE payments to finality in about 0.15–0.25 seconds once on the Metal network. That’s very FAST. Imagine being able to use crypto for everyday payments without waiting around. Still early, but this is the kind of progress that could help bring crypto to more people. markets.businessinsider.com/…

Blockchain and AI are converging. Chains themselves are becoming intelligent, with AI embedded in the protocol and agents transacting under verifiable rules. That’s what @MetallicusTDBN is building with @XPRNetwork and PulseVM on @MetalBlockchain. There is no second best.

@VALELORDX claim: "I cooked an entire community" 😅🤣😅 My brother in Christ, the only thing that is cooked is your brain 🤯 Public keys.....Every single wallet in crypto uses both private and public keys, including Ledger. I mean, we all know you don't have even the most remote idea as to what you are talking about but this is just embarrassing. When I said that there wasn't any funds lost, it's quite simple: No funds left the ecosystem. Metallicus stopped it within an hour. Accounts that were exposed from the smart contract exploit are having their accounts restored, unlike the Ledger's you've been shilling 🤡 Finally, there is a difference between a smart contract hack and a blockchain (such as $XPR & $METAL) itself being exploited. If you need me to hold your hand on this one, I will gladly take the time to walk you through... Oh wait, you hid like a coward and blocked me the last time I had to put you in your place 😁 P.S You should have sourced my response to Marlon's ridiculous comment, would have saved you further embarrassment on this one.

We have the Bitcoin quantum solution at @MetallicusTDBN
BITCOIN’S CRYPTOGRAPHY UNDER SCRUTINY AS AI BREAKTHROUGHS SPARK SECURITY DEBATE @Rob1Ham has published a detailed analysis of five mathematical approaches that could theoretically weaken Bitcoin’s elliptic-curve cryptography without quantum computers. The article examines potential shortcuts to solving the elliptic-curve discrete logarithm problem, which underpins Bitcoin’s secp256k1 security and requires roughly 2¹²⁸ operations using known classical methods. Hamilton emphasizes that none of the approaches represents a demonstrated break, and that mathematical discoveries do not necessarily translate into practical attacks. The analysis follows growing speculation that AI-assisted mathematical breakthroughs could undermine longstanding cryptographic assumptions. Coinbase Head of Cryptography Yehuda Lindell has pushed back against the speculation, arguing that there is currently no evidence of a breakthrough threatening elliptic-curve cryptography.

The future crypto hardware wallet standard will be @webauthwallet with @Yubico. It has become too dangerous for a single company to be the hardware, software and logistics combined.
Another spy implant confirmed, this one looks like the v1.0 of the one I have here, meaning there were more iterations. nitter.gq/0xJohannes_/status/210…

My first PR for @MetalBlockchain #DogecoinVM, proposed a normalisation on the URI to use as standard on any dogecoin wallet, so a wallet could automaticly know using your same exact self-custodial dogecoin wallet what chain ,to use to pay for your coffee github.com/MetalBlockchain/d…
#DogeVM Connect full Opensource and ready to be tested and used on any OS here: github.com/qlpqlp/DogeVM (#DogecoinVM <-> #Dogecoin) I added an API, if shibes want, you can even implement and test now on online stores and even physical stores like Coffee Shops or Supermarkets

This is what the future of finance looks like. ⚡️ And what makes it possible underneath the surface? Infrastructure. @Metallicus is building the rails for real-time money movement, digital dollars, payments, identity, and blockchain — giving institutions the technology to turn ideas like this into reality. The innovation is visible. The infrastructure powering it is Metallicus. This is just the beginning. Read: share.google/gPhPxJ1bMI5AjOo…

All great questions! From what I understand, here would be my answers: 1. Mostly yes. Metal Blockchain is a fork of Avalanche and uses Avalanche’s Snowman consensus. DogecoinVM is a virtual machine (and dedicated L1) on Metal that runs Dogecoin’s UTXO rules, addresses, keys, and script engine under Snowman instead of proof of work. The EVM comparison is directionally right but not exact: an EVM is an account-based smart-contract machine, while DogecoinVM is a Dogecoin-style UTXO ledger, not a general smart-contract platform. 2. The $DOGE on DogecoinVM comes from the original Dogecoin chain through a two-way peg, not as a full mirror of the chain. You send DOGE to a peg address on Dogecoin; after confirmations (about 20 in the current setup), an equivalent amount is credited from a reserve on DogecoinVM. To leave, you pay $DOGE back into the reserve on DogecoinVM and the bridge releases the locked coins on Dogecoin. A completed mainnet round trip has already been published. Only the bridged amount exists on DogecoinVM; the rest of Dogecoin’s history stays on Dogecoin. 3. It does not change Dogecoin’s proof-of-work system. Dogecoin Core continues as it does today. Metal and DogecoinVM use Snowman consensus (Avalanche-family, proof-of-stake style, with validators staking METAL). Security of the payment layer is separate from Dogecoin mining. 4. The main risks are those of an unaudited alpha bridge. The project states the code has not been externally audited, bugs could lose or freeze funds, and the bridge can be paused. The peg is federated: signers can move the locked $DOGE, and during alpha one operator still holds the signing keys, so users are trusting that operator. Caps limit exposure (on the order of 100 DOGE per deposit and a few thousand DOGE total circulating). There is no insurance. Keys in the web wallet or Mac app stay on the user’s device and are unrecoverable if lost. 5. On-chain finality is in a similar speed class to Solana’s block time, and faster than Solana’s typical confirmation window. DogecoinVM payments are described as final in about 0.15–0.25 seconds once on the L1. Moving coins on or off still waits for Dogecoin confirmations (roughly 20 minutes at the current depth). Fees follow a Dogecoin Core 1.14-style policy (minimum relay about 0.001 $DOGE per kB, with dust rules); the broader claim is that fees are customizable and no longer tied to Dogecoin block-size limits. Solana fees are usually a fraction of a cent, so both are cheap for payments, with different trust and finality models. 6. Everyday use is still limited to the alpha tools. The live site is metaldoge.com, which offers a web wallet and a Mac app that keep the key on the device, plus JSON-RPC. A wallet that already supports Dogecoin can in principle talk to the L1 with the same keys and D-addresses, but the network must be unmistakable because addresses look identical on both chains. Major phone wallets and exchanges do not yet ship DogecoinVM as a standard feature. But @BuildrJ of @MyDoge has expressed interest in talking to the Metallicus team. 7. Not as a direct swap. DogeOS’s EVM path is aimed at account-based smart contracts and Ethereum-style tooling. DogecoinVM is aimed at Dogecoin-native UTXO payments with the same script rules and keys. Whether a change is worth it depends on whether the product needs fast Dogecoin payments more than EVM apps; the two can coexist, and DogecoinVM is still in capped beta. I’d love the chance to host a AMA space with @MarshallHayner or @MetallicusTDBN team member on their new tech for the Dogecoin community.

WSX Breaking: Metallicus has launched the alpha version of DogecoinVM on Metal Blockchain, claiming Dogecoin transactions can be processed up to 300 times faster than on the native network. The independent layer is designed to accelerate $DOGE payments without modifying Dogecoin Core, with transactions reaching finality in roughly 0.15–0.25 seconds. Metallicus CEO Marshall Hayner says the development addresses the faster-payment vision previously raised by @elonmusk, while DogecoinVM currently limits deposits to 100 DOGE during alpha testing.

According to the company, the processing speed of transactions can be up to 300 times faster than before. Marshall Hayner, CEO of Metallicus, referred to it as a response to Elon Musk’s (@elonmusk) request to make dogecoin:native transactions faster. The DogecoinVM is a new layer, independent from Dogecoin (@dogecoin) Core, Transactions reportedly get settled in 0.15 to 0.25 seconds, although deposits are limited to 100 DOGE.

so is this guy also like OGs of early bitcoin days?
Same Doge. New beat. Five years ago, @elonmusk challenged the Dogecoin community to make it 10x faster, increase block size 10x, and cut fees 100x. It didn’t look possible on the existing proof-of-work stack. At the same time, at @MetallicusTDBN and @MetalBlockchain, we had begun the work of building blockchain technology to integrate into banks, credit unions, and financial services. I could see where the future was headed, and the vision was clear. It took a few years. We didn’t just make it 10x faster. We made it 300x faster. Throughput no longer depends on block size, and fees are fully customizable. This isn’t Dogecoin Core. It’s a separate payment layer that keeps the same UTXO model as Dogecoin and Bitcoin, under a proof-of-stake consensus called Snowman. Built for X, and for any fintech that wants to scale Dogecoin and Bitcoin. And we’re not finished. We opened the door. On the other side is the blockchainification of finance as we know it.
